Car runner will log into the Valet computer using a
barcode badge. The timeout for auto logging off
this car runner is configurable.

Car runner scans a new barcode

Car runner inserts ticket into printer for date time print

3 part ticket gets separated. 1 to customer, 2 to vehicle, 3 to board in cashier area

After car is parked the car runner puts the ‘board ticket’ up for cashier to put on
board

Customer returns with ticket

Cashier scans ticket and rate is calculated from the time provided by the stored
barcode on the ZMS

Payment is received

Ticket is printed and saved, a special receipt called ‘Claim Check’ is given to
customer

Customer presents ‘Claim Ticket’ to car runner to ensure ticket number on car
matches claim check
