Shane Barnhill • Country Lovin’
www.shanebarnillmusic.com
Shane Barnhill’s music shines on his CD, Country Lovin’. With a couple self-penned
tunes including “Take Away” plus songs like “It Don’t Hurt To Ask” by masterful songwriter, Dean Dillon, Shane delivers a solid project from start to finish. This positively
country project could easily be described as Texas Redneck - which is something we
don’t hear enough of these days!
Chris Rogers • Rollin’ Wheel
www.chrisrogersmusic.com
Chris Rogers’ 5-song release entitled Rollin’ Wheel is a sneak peek into the potential of
this rising star. He has a powerful traditional sound edged with a slightly contemporary
feel. There’s plenty of emotion in each vocal delivery from “All Over The Map” to
“Rollin’ Wheel,” a song he co-wrote with Jay Brunswick and Josh Towne. Looking forward to hearing more from this Georgia native.
Abbey Hirvela • The Start
www.abbeyhirvelamusic.com
Abbey Hirvela’s CD, is aptly titled, The Start. This debut 7-song EP features a contemporary country sound, opening with the uptempo “Reason To Run” and also includes the
Sara Evans’ song “Needle And Thread,” the only song on the project that Abbey didn’t
have a hand in writing. Her vocals show emotion beyond her years and experience. All
in all, a strong career launch.
John & Judy Rodman • Here We Are
www.johnandjudyrodman.com
Singer/songwriter Judy Rodman joins her husband, drummer/songwriter, John Rodman
on this collection of self-penned tunes. With credits and accolades already bestowed on
both, it’s no surprise that this CD has plenty of appealing material. The uptempo opener,
“Somethin’ Like That” is one of best with the heartfelt “Here We Are” coming in at a
close second. It’s great to see Judy back in the recording studio!

Craig Wiseman Honored
By Mississippi Arts Commission
At the 2015 Governor’s Arts Awards
Multiple award-winning songwriter and producer, Craig Wiseman, was honored
by his home state of Mississippi during the 27th Annual Governor’s Arts Awards.
The Big Loud Shirt Industries founder has received the Excellence in Music award,
for his exemplary talent and dedication to music.
"In Nashville most people know four things about me. I'm a songwriter, I wear big
loud shirts, I have a toenail painted red and I'm from Mississippi. I have always
proudly claimed Mississippi as my home. I am grateful to help carry the long tradition of Mississippians' contribution to American music. It is an honor to receive this
award from the State that has been woven in my words and melodies and my heart
from the very beginning," shares Wiseman. "I will return to the friends, the love and
the warmth of my raising! Praise God, hallelujah and Amen. Now get some catfish
cookin'!"
The Hattiesburg, MS native, and GRAMMY award winner will be recognized for his
24 #1 hits, penning over 100 singles and his significant role in shaping Country music. In the past, Wiseman has taken home CMA and ACM Song of the Year nods, and was honored with NSAI’s
Songwriter of the Decade at their 2009 ceremony. In November, Wiseman received the prestigious ASCAP Heritage
Award, in commemoration of ASCAP’s 100th anniversary.
Nominations for the Governor’s Arts Awards were made by the general public, and a group of industry peers served
as judges to review and select recipients. The Mississippi Arts Commission is a state agency, funded by the Mississippi Legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Mississippi Endowment for the Arts at the Community
Foundation of Greater Jackson and other private sources. MAC is the official grants-making and service agency for
the arts in Mississippi. The agency serves as an active supporter and promoter of arts in community life and in arts
education.
About Craig Wiseman/Big Loud Shirt/Big Loud Mountain:
With 38 #1 hit singles, over 60 singles and countless awards, Big Loud Shirt has become one of the most successful
and creative independent music publishing companies, which Billboard has ranked as one of the nation’s top ten

Living in a Country Music Dream
If only fantasies could be real life and dreams really did come true
I would take a tour of Graceland and the Grand Ole Opry too
I could pack up my honey bun, and head for the hills of Tennessee
For a vacation in the mountains in my make believe R.V.
Listening to those country songs that stick inside the mind
the ones that touch a place inside I thought I’d left behind
Like ‘Grandpa, Tell Me About The Good Old Days’ and ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’
‘Stand By Your Man’ ,‘He Stopped Loving Her Today’ and ‘Coat Of Many Colors’
Remembering Dottie, Kitty, Patsy, Waylon and Conway too
Bill Monroe, Little Jimmy, Porter, and Johnny & June
Grampa Jones and String Bean, on the old re-runs of Hee Haw
Roy and Archie with their funny stories, …I still love them all
Now I cry and sing along with Miranda in ‘The House That Built Me’
Tim singing ‘Don’t Take The Girl’ almost brings me to my knees
‘Remember When’ by Alan takes me on a walk back through time
Collin’s note signed ‘Love Me’ is a tender way to say good bye
Randy ‘The Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart’ still gets to me today
Travis had ‘The Best Of Intentions’ and I forgave him right away
Both Hank’s had that ‘Family Tradition’, and Brad his ‘Alcohol’
George is on the ‘Seashores of Old Mexico’ with no worries at all
Sylvia your ‘Nobody’ called today, and Kenny ‘You Had Me at Hello’
Someone ‘Pour me’ another ‘Whiskey Lullabye’ and pick the old banjo
‘I Ain’t as Good as I Once Was’ either Toby, but I still drive a Ford
I guess I’m a ‘Redneck Woman’ Gretchen, I shop all the dollar stores
Sara left all the ‘Suds in a Bucket’ when she decided to leave
Carrie brings out the best in all of us singing ‘Before He Cheats’
Blake is ‘Doing What She Likes’, in his romantic flaming video
Garth is happy doing his concerts, and Trisha her cooking show
I can’t get ‘Drunk on a Plane’ Dierks because I refuse to fly
So here I sit day by day watching all my dreams go by
Sadly, ‘Life Ain’t Always Beautiful’ just like Gary sings
and ‘The World Ain’t Gonna Stop’, for broken hearts or wings
‘I Ain’t No Quitter’ Shania, I’m just getting old too quick
My mind and feet start slipping as the sands of time do shift
Life isn’t a ‘Rose Garden’ when the aging body starts to fall apart
But youth thrives indignantly deep inside this ‘Snow Bird’s’ heart
I don’t need to leave the comfort of my home, I enjoy living in the dream
Preserving all the memories of the ones who make my heart dance and sing
You pour your hearts into your songs and videos for all of us out here
Who share the joy of watching them with laughter, love, and tears
