Nowadays, biodegradable lubricants have become an
essential component for the running of equipment
complying with current regulations every time they are in
contact with sensitive areas.
Civil engineering, green areas, forestry sites, shipping
and sailing, hydro-electrics, skiing resorts, national
parks, agriculture, concrete turning out, rail transport, all
those areas are concerned.

“In order to protect the environment from pollution by
lubricants and urge the development of biodegradable
products, a decree by the Conseil d’Etat (Council of
State) sets the terms for the interdiction, as of January
1st, 2011, of the use in sensitive natural areas of
lubricants that might be replaced for given uses by
lubricants complying with the criteria for biodegradability and lack of eco-toxicity set down by the European
Commission’s decision 2005 / 360 / CE of April 26,
2005, drawing up the environmental criteria and
relevant requirements in the matter of estimating and
verifying for the granting of the EC’s environmental label
to lubricants”.
In every instance, the use of biolubricants aims at
reducing environmental impact as compared with
a classic lubricant, through components and
formulations that guarantee a high biodegradability
(speedy degradation through the action of
micro-organisms) as well as low toxicity.
The design of PROBEOL lubricants allows the
achievement of technical performances adapted to
particularly constraining conditions of use.
Eco-labels distinguish products and services that
are more environment-friendly. Their criteria
guarantee a product’s aptness to use and its
reduced environmental impact throughout the
product’s life cycle.
Two eco-labels are awarded in France : NF
Environnement for the local market, and the
European Eco-label for the EE market.

For many years now, IGOL has followed through on all technical evolutions.
Actively present in every sector – Automotive, Motorcycles, Transportation,
Civil Engineering, Agricultural and Marine Industry – IGOL has, for over 60

Instructions for use
Along with motor oils, hydraulic oils
are the most tested fluids. Compressed, heated, submitted to
extreme pressures, often under the
most drastic conditions.
You can depend on the reliability of
PROBEOL’s wide hydraulic range
in satisfying the particular demands
that each manufacturer imposes
for the proper operation of his
machinery.
PROBEOL HV 46
PROBEOL HV 46 is a high-quality
hydraulic fluid, with a base of
biodegradable synthetic esters and
high-performance additives, resulting
from laboratory research. PROBEOL HV
46 should be used as a hydraulic fluid in
sensitive areas in order to offset the risk of
pollution. PROBEOL HV 46 was

particularly designed for a state-of-the-art
hydraulic lubrication in the most drastic conditions of public works
equipment, agricultural machinery (tractors, various tools, quarry
work) and industrial equipment (presses, jacks, machine tools,
etc…).
Because of its reinforced additive content, PROBEOL HV 46
displays a remarkable resistance to oxidation, a very good thermal
stability and an incomparable hydrolytic stability.
Also available in grades 32 and 68.

PROBEOL SAT 46
Do not neglect the simple rules below, thus
optimizing the use of PROBEOL biolubricants :
A synthetic hydraulic fluid, biodegradable, formulated with a base
of saturated, over 50% renewable esters, combining environmental preservation with a very high performance level.
• Flush all hydraulic systems with PROBEOL FLUSH before
substituting biolubricants for classic hydraulic lubricants.
• PROBEOL SAT 46 provides excellent performances in Eaton
Vickers 35VQ25 and Parker Denison T6H20C vane pumps.

• Parker Denison (HF-1, HF-2, HF-6)
• Cincinnati Machine P-70
• Mixing two similar hydraulic lubricants may prove damageable for the hydraulic system. Additives are not necessarily
compatible.
• Biodegradability > 60% (according to OECD 301 B standard)
• Choose and select PROBEOL biolubricants that comply
with the technical specs required by the manufacturers
(HETG, HEES, SATURATED, etc…) appropriately to their end
use.
PROBEOL HEES 46
• Avoid any solid or liquid contamination of PROBEOL
hydraulic fluids: store under shelter (above-ground), use
clean flexes…
A biodegradable hydraulic lubricant with a base of unsaturated
esters, recommended for use in an agricultural and forestry
environment at very high temperatures (<90°C).
Use the appropriate channels for the
recycling of lubricants, packaging and
soiled materials.

PROBEOL FLUSH
A plant-based flushing fluid, biodegradable and zinc-free,
indispensable to maintain the biodegradable quality of
hydraulic lubricants when switching from a mineral
hydraulic fluid to a PROBEOL biodegradable fluid.
• Biodegradability > 60% (according to OECD 301 B standard)
A biodegradable hydraulic lubricant
with a vegetable-oil base.
Adapted for agricultural machinery, its
use is recommended in sensitive areas.
To be used in hydraulic systems at
moderate temperatures (< 70°C).

PROBEOL ABSORB
Absorbent, fireproof slide preserver, to be used in an industrial
environment or on road surfaces, formulated on a base of wood
particles derived from renewable energies and complying with
Environmental NF norm n° 336.
PROBEOL ABSORB displays an important absorbent power,
the lack of heavy metals in the absorbative compound and a
reduced ash rate when the absorbative is incinerated.
Absorbent power (NF T 90-361) : fuel oil 335%, water 434%,
15W-40 motor oil 319%
PROBEOL HAND POWDER
EU Ecolabel : FR/30/003
Solvent-free, plant-based hand cleaner.
Contains micronized pinewood cellulose,
aseptic and with a strong absorbent and
scraping power, thus able to fix stains with
soap. Glycerin-enriched and lavender-scented
with essential oil, PROBEOL
HAND
POWDER softens the skin without drying.
IGOSOLVE VG-20
A grease-removing solvent for professional use, IGOSOLVE
VG-20 is designed for the cleaning of mechanical parts. Can be
used in a vat or by applying with a cloth or brush. IGOSOLVE
VG-20 is free of chlorinated, fluoridated or aromatic
compounds. Non-toxic, since it is formulated from specially
transformed raw materials with a natural origin.

PROBEOL ASPHALTE
Concentrated biodegradable emulsion designed for the application of a non-stick protective film against hydrocarbon products
such as bitumen / asphalt / macadam.
Protects materials, tools and equipment in contact with those
types of products (asphalted concrete, macadam, sanded
asphalt, putties, etc…).

PROBEOL LR MPG
Biodegradable, ready-to-use coolant for truck and industrial
vehicle cooling systems.
Non-toxic and environment-friendly. Protects against the cold
down to - 25°C.

PROBEOL PROTECT PULVÉ
This antifreeze spray is glycerin-based. It contains corrosion
inhibitors to protect common metals and surfactants for the
maintenance of the sprayer.
Easily biodegradable due to its natural origin. Its color is due to
chlorophyll, a vegetable colorant.
PROBEOL LAVE GLACE
PROBEOL LAVE GLACE is designed for the cleaning of
vehicle windows and windscreens. Its protection down to - 20°C
allows it to be used in periods of freezing cold.
It contains ethyl alcohol derived from beetroot, wheat or sugarcane. The surfactants are derived from raw materials of a
vegetable origin essentially (coconut) and guaranteed GMO-free.
The colorant is derived from chlorophyll.

5W-30
A long-lasting multigrade, 100% synthetic motor oil. The 5W30
grade grants PROBEOL PLX a performing power of fuel
economy and massive reduction of friction and wear. Particularly
recommended for use in a sensitive environment under risk of
pollution. PROBEOL PLX, besides its biodegradability, answers
the most drastic demands of manufacturers. Thus, PROBEOL

PROBEOL GREASE G 000 fluid grease for low temperature operation is used in centralized lubrication systems.

PROBEOL GREASE SHP 50
Lubricating grease with a base of lithium, calcium, synthetic ester and
vegetable oil soap. Particularly recommended for applications in
sensitive natural areas: forests, green areas, closeness to waterways,
locks, narrow boats and barges. Exceptionally resistant to seawater
and brine.

PROBEOL VIBROLINE
Form release oil for the differed release of
vibrated or molded concretes, in wooden
or metal forms. PROBEOL VIBROLINE
contains vegetable oils which grant it

be applied by spraying or undiluted with a
brush.

PROBEOL CHAINE 150 EL
EU Ecolabel : FR/01/001
Biodegradable fluid, specially formulated to answer
the most drastic demands for the lubrication of
chainsaw chains and guides. PROBEOL CHAINE
150 EL is based on vegetable oils that have been
specially treated to resist oxidation and favor
maximum adhesiveness. To be used in sensitive
areas where all risks of pollution for the environment
should be shunned.

Biodegradable chain oil for chainsaws. Excellent lubrication and

PROBEOL 2T TR
Responding to the very strict JASO FC norm on smoke emission,
PROBEOL 2T TR is a premium synthetic oil for 2-stroke
“land-going” motors. This oil is formulated from biodegradable
complex esters and a high-performance additive system that
improves its lubricating power and its resistance to oxidation.

PROBEOL PULVOCOUPE V
Grade 32 cutting oil for the lubrication of band-saws. It is biodegradable, non-toxic and is applied by mist-spraying.

Identical to PROBEOL PULVOCOUPE V, but with possible use
outdoors and in winter down to - 15°C.

PROBEOL EMULSCIE V
Emulsifiable fluid used between 4 and 10% for the lubrication and
sawing of wood. These triglycerides coat the lubricated organs and
display a strong adhesiveness to steel. Highly efficient in dissolving the
resins that usually stick to the blade, a property which ensures the lasting
quality of the blade’s cutting power. This fluid does not give off any
unpleasant smells, does not cling to clothing. Non-flammable emulsion.
This product also exists in foodstuff form (EMULSCIE AL).
