Vision Quest Lighting was founded over ten years ago by
Larry Lieberman and has grown to become one of the largest
custom lighting manufacturers in the United States. With a client
base that includes hotel and hospitality, national retail account
brands, corporate offices and high-end residential projects, VQL
has proven itself to be a reliable and creative producer among
the design community.
Starting as an engineering company specializing in theatrical
lighting in 1996, VQL created unique lighting effects that are
still used today all over the world. In 2005 Vision Quest Lighting
expanded its services into architectural lighting and has since
expanded from a small engineering office to a twenty thousand
square foot manufacturing facility on Long Island in New York.
Since 2005 VQL has been specializing in custom chandeliers,
pendants, wall sconces, table lamps and track lighting. The
company’s continued success throughout the years is directly
related to its intuitive and intellectually savvy designs.
The Vision Quest Lighting design team reviews your concepts
to engineer your vision within budget. After consultation
and approval, our production team and master craftsmen
take over to fabricate your product—on time and to
your specifications.

Each hanging tier is made of bent steel bar that is suspended by aircraft
cables to the center mounting point. On each level, the wine glasses are
removable and provide an opportunity for many unique looks. The fixture
contains one lamp source that elegantly shimmers through the wine glasses
providing a brilliant look.

Fabricated out of metal and accented with acrylic rods that are turned
down to create an edgy look. This Spiked chandelier has exposed welds
with purposely place grind marks to reflect light. It is finished with a smooth
black painted center that fades to natural metal to emphasize a burst of
energy that radiates throughout the fixture.

crystal chandelier, VQL turned to sourcing in Europe to find master craftsmen
to reproduce this intricate design. This high quality chandelier maintains the

acrylic diffusers. An external DMX controller synchronizes color changes.

Created for the film “Men in Black 3”, these futuristic and simplistic spheres
have a modern look. They feature a high gloss acrylic diffuser and a seamless
white cover to enclose all wires leading to a flat stainless steel canopy.

Hanging White Sphere
This is a stunning centerpiece in a trendy Atlantic City restaurant. This four-foot
diameter dome is spun from a single sheet of aluminum. It is embellished with
faux seams and rivets while the inside of the dome is hand-painted at VQL in
several layers featuring a gradient color and geometric pattern.
This chandelier utilizes bent acrylic rods to create a starburst of light and
atmosphere. The illuminated rods use a custom designed LED engine
designed and manufactured at VQL.

Watermelon Dome
This large, five-foot glass and metal pendant is a main feature of an Iron
Chef’s restaurant in Atlantic City. Finished with an exclusive VQL faux brass
technique that surrounds etched glass panels, this showpiece is a great
example of geometric and contemporary design on a large scale, bringing
our client’s design into reality.
Manufactured and pioneered at VQL, this special process of silk-screening
color on this acrylic tube meets our customer’s requirements for a durable and
washable fixture. Any look can be achieved with this process.

a textured, acrylic diffuser and then painted to the desired color. The

table lamp. The green crystal blocks stacked along the chrome stem are

A replica from a customer’s private collection, this white ceramic lamp

Skinny Candlestick
This fixture is constructed of brass and given a rustic appearance with
a brown cloth wire for added detail and faux finished at VQL. It has
become a favorite because of its classical appearance.
This table lamp is constructed of aluminum and then masterfully aged with
an original technique developed specifically for this project. The aluminum
body sits on a dark stained wood that matches the restaurant’s millwork.
