Welcome to the Assiniboine Park Zoo
The zoo is home to 80 acres of exhibits and contains approximately 200 different species of
animals that make up a total of over 2,000 specimens. As you navigate through the zoo you’ll
experience and interact with animal species from all corners of the globe.

The Assiniboine Park Zoo
is open 364 days a year
(closed Christmas Day).
For your comfort and convenience,
strollers, wagons, wheelchairs and
electric scooters are available for
rent. I.D is required for all rentals. All
areas are wheelchair accessible.
Please do not feed the animals.
Starting May Long Weekend
Daily: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
After September Long Weekend
Daily: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Entrance gates close ½ hour prior
to Zoo closing.
Animal Tracks Café closes ½ hour
before Zoo closing.
Zoo buildings close 15 minutes
before Zoo closing.
Opening and closing times may
change without notice.
The Zoo is not responsible for lost
