SUMMER CAMP INFORMATIONAL MEETING
All parents and guardians are asked to meet with the GA
& Acteen leaders on Wednesday, March 9th at 5:45 PM
to discuss dates for camp this summer.

MARCH WMU/LADIES MISSION PROJECT: One of the two couples
we support as church planters through our budget and prayers is
Logan & Katie Loveday who serve in Connecticut. Katie and Logan are
expecting their 2nd child. It’s a Boy, Lawson Edward. They have an
almost 2 year old daughter, Emery. We have a mission team going up
in late March to assist them with Easter weekend outreach events. We would like
to send as many small gift items and gift cards for diapers with the team as possible who will present the gifts to the Loveday’s while there as a small shower.
They buy diapers at Wal-Mart and CVS, as Katie is an “Extreme Couponer.” A
$10.00 CVS or Wal-Mart gift card would buy a pack of diapers, or a small boy
gown/sleeper which would be small enough to pack and send as well. There will
be a basket in the back hallway for the baby items, or bring any gift cards or cash
donations to our March WMU meeting or give to Jill Sisk or Jan Childers.
Fairview Baptist Church has been asked to provide 25 bath towels for
the North Spartan Association Health Kits. If you are willing to purchase towels for this project, please place them in the Haiti basket in
the back hall. Collection deadline will be Wednesday, March 30th.
MISSION PROJECT: The Mission Friends, GA’s, & RA’s are working
to collect 200 jump ropes for Jennifer, Kadence, & Cade Holmes
to take with them as they go on a mission trip to Haiti in April.

FROM THE PASTOR’S PEN
I hope you have had a good February. I know I did because, on February
15th, the Lord blessed us with twin grandbabies: Walker Luke and Mollie
Grace. Even though they are both in NICU, we are thankful they are doing
well. The Lord has touched them and they are improving day by day.
Praise the Lord!! I appreciate your continued prayers for them and for Anna
and Luke as well.
March is a busy month with a lot of exciting things going on. One of those
is March Gladness. I pray that teachers and their class members are working hard to get as many in Sunday School during the whole month. Last
year, on high attendance Sunday, we had 212. I know we need to be busy
every week trying to get people in Sunday school and worship, not just
during the month of March, but it is a good motivational time for church
growth here at Fairview.

Don’t forget about our Easter Sunrise Services the last Sunday of the
month. We are looking forward to two great services that day. It will be a
special time as we celebrate together the Resurrection of our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ.

Fairview will not be participating in the Sunday activities so that
we can be at our church supporting March Gladness.
