SECOND STAGE -"YOU AS A TRANSFORMER"
DECEMBER 11-17, 2015.

YOU AS A TRANSFORMER
A key to fight poverty and increase social and cultural inclusion and tolerance is to increase
youth employability and participation, so that youth become active and responsible creators
of their own communities and employment opportunities.
Second Stage TC “You as a Tra sfor er", where the participants will get the main tools and
instruments of conflict transformation and empathic communication. Project will take place
in mountain town of Georgia - Bakuriani, between 11th– 17TH of December, 2015. The project
will last during 7 days (including arrival and departure).
The promoter organizations for both projects will be the same, from: Czech Republic,
Georgia, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine.
After the first level of training the most interested and motivated participants will take part
also in second level of training in order to continue their path of personal and professional
development.
Main Topics of the Project
Aims & Objectives
Main topics of the project are: Self-development, empathic communication, dynamics of conflict, by
dialogue among young people from different countries by different backgrounds, stimulate better
understanding of diversities, and developing awareness of European Citizens.

The method has been implemented by the concepts of learning by
thinking, learning by doing. Learning by thinking denotes the action of
reflecting on the process going on, in order to get knowledge from it.
Finally, learning by doing expresses the importance given to motivation
and passion that enrich the learning experience. The methodology is
based on the concepts of developing and challenging individuals and
groups through a creative stimulation that connects objective contents
with personal experience and internalization.

Have a huge background in this field and have been
implementing many projects for young people around the
world. The methodology is based on learning by doing,
which refers to the process of making meanings from
direct experience.

be provided in combination with music, dance or play. There are inside
and outdoor processes.

Main Target Group
In accordance with the project aim, for the project – The Art of Development main target group of the projects will be newcomers in NGO
sector, youngsters, who are trying to find their fields of interest, concrete work or communication styles, those who still have no clear vision of
their future work, have troubles in decision making, communication or conflict resolution. We would like to include youth with difficulties to
adapt to the society (i.e. young people with immigrant backgrounds, from broken families, etc.), NEET category (Not in Education, Employment
or Training) and who are looking for opportunities to improve their skills and work in the youth field. It is strongly recommended from the
organizers to be selected at least 1 youngster coming from the rural aeries, or youth having economical or social challenges and youngsters
who have not participated in Erasmus + or YiA project more than 2 times.
Age limit of participants for TC: From 18 to 35years old
Please make sure that you keep gender balance when selecting
the participants for project!

Follow up activities- how they plan to use knowledge and
experience gained during projects

According to the project design each partner organization has to involve 1 participant for TC with fewer opportunities; participants having

Venue: Bakuriani, Georgia.
Bakuriani is a popular skiing resort in the Borjomi district of Georgia. It is located on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range, at an
elevation of 1,700 meters (5,576 feet) above sea level. The region around Bakuriani is covered by coniferous forests (mainly made up of
spruce). The resort lies 30km from Borjomi and is located within the so-called Bakuriani Depression/caldera The highest mountain of the
resort used for skiing is called Mount Kohta at around 2,200 meters (7,216 feet) above sea level.

How to reach the Meeting points:

Participants who are coming in Tbilisi international airport
Exit the airport and go to the bus stop in front of the airport (it is really small) and jump on
the bus 37. Ticket machine is on the bus (we use LARI (GEL), ticket costs 0.50 Lari You
can exchange money in the airport and keep coins with you for a ticket).
Get out of the bus stop which is in city center, called Baratashvili street Kol eur eoba
– according to the web page calculation it takes maximum 50 minutes. And from there
you walk way of the Dry Bridge. (In Georgian it is cold Mshrali Khidi) which is just 5 min from
bus station. And there you can find a bar cold Generator 9.8 (address: Atoneli street 29)
that is a place where we meet

Project costs& Reimbursement:
100% of accommodation, food and transportation during the project will be covered with the support of ERASMUS+.
It is necessary for participants to have travel and health insurance (not covered by project).
All the necessary information about the reimbursement procedures and documents, participants need to provide will be sent as
reimbursement guide later. (Such as travel document invoice from sending organizations and etc.)
According to the new rules of Erasmus+, the maximum amount that we can reimburse for each representative of the country is indicated below
in the table.
