about how the scholarship
impacted her life.
Julie Vann from the Beavercreek Forward
Foundation presents a $1000.00 check to
GreeneBucs to purchase AMTRYKES for kids in
the Beavercreek area.
At the installation everyone experienced the joy
of seeing eight year old Brandon get his new
AMTRYKE. At first he showed a little
trepidation, but after being fitted he thanked
everyone and told them “I love my new bike
and thank you”!

THE BLESSING OF THE BIKES
continues to grow as there were
10,000 motorcycles at Welcome
Stadium this year.
Two children, fitted by Kim and
Mark Coclasure of ABC
Pediatric Therapy received
AMTRTKES.
Also two Veterans from the
Dayton VA Rehab Center and
one from the Volunteers of
America of Greater Dayton.
These bikes were fitted by Claude
Childers a past recipient of a
Veteran Bike.

Members are getting ready for the National Convention in July.
GreeneBucs has been awarded several grants:
 The Wal-Mart Foundation –Beavercreek Sam’s Club-$1000.00 (Veteran Bikes).
 The Beavercreek Forward Foundation-$1000.00 (Children's Bikes).
 Hastings Mutual Grant-$2610.00

Bob Zimmerman built a recumbent bike last week for an adult on the Wish List. Kim Oppy and her hubby delivered a bike to a Veteran in Sydney, Ohio. He was unable to attend the Blessing of Bikes because his car broke
down on the way. Thanks to Greenebucs great volunteers.
The Scholarship Committee meets this week in High Point, N. C. Greenebucs had twenty scholarships
applications.
Did you know we have over twenty kids waiting to get new AMTRYKES on the “Wish List” and two Veterans?
The Reverse Raffle sponsored by the South Dayton AMBUC Club will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at the
Tropics at 6:30. Contact Pat Sullivan for tickets at 427-3919.
