Dreams & nightmares ~
In my mind I fly.
Monsters chase me down.
I sail in the sky.
I fall deep into the ground.
In my mind people care.
Hallways stretch on endlessly.
Birds flutter in the air.
Trapped gasping breathlessly.
In my mind I am satisfied.
The shadow bares my ignorance.
At a throne I reside.
Where is my deliverance? In my mind there's joy
In my mind there's grief.
Waking doth destroy, Or bring me relief. Josh Alfred

“When Gregor Samsa woke up one morning from unsettling dreams, he found himself changed in his bed into a monstrous vermin. He was lying on his back as hard as armor plate, and when he lifted his head a little, he saw his vaulted brown belly, sectioned by archshaped ribs, to whose dome the cover, about to slide off completely, could barely cling. His many legs pitiifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, were waving helplessly before his eyes. “What’s happened to me?” he thought. IT WAS NO DREAM.” Franz Kafka, Metamorphosis.
