THE DELUXE 11 DAY HOLY LAND TOUR:
Daily Itinerary
Day 01 - Monday, USA / Israel
Our journey of a lifetime begins with a departure from Chicago’s O’Hare International
Airport. We will depart late-morning to New York, where we will catch our EL AL flight to
Tel Aviv. We will be served lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Day 02 - Tuesday, Tel Aviv / Tiberias
After arriving mid-morning in Tel Aviv, we will clear customs and immigration formalities
and board our modern air-conditioned, luxury motor coach. We will take a scenic twohour drive to Tiberias/Galilee. We will have a beautiful stop along the way at Caesarea
by the Sea (Acts 10 & 25).Then on to the Leonardo Plaza. This beautiful, 5-star hotel is
located within walking distance of downtown Tiberias and is right on the Sea of Galilee.
Our first of many delicious, buffet meals will be served upon arrival. Then we will unpack
and prepare to be pampered for two days in this wonderful hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Day 03 - Wednesday, Sea of Galilee Boat Ride / Capernaum /
Golan Heights / Caesarea Philippi
We will start this morning with a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We will arrive at a place
that Christ knew well - Capernaum. In Capernaum are the remains of what is believed
to be Peter’s House. This is the region where Christ spent much of His early ministry
(Matthew 4:13). We will then proceed up the Golan Heights and drive to Tel Dan, the
northernmost city of ancient Israel (Judges 18:29). Next, we will see Caesarea Philippi,
where Jesus and His disciples went for peace and quiet (Mark 8:27).
Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Day 04 - Thursday, Cana / Nazareth / Tel Megiddo / Baptism
We depart Tiberias this morning and the first stop is Cana, the site of the first miracle of
Jesus. (John 2). Then on to drive by Nazareth, the city where Jesus would have grown
up as a child. (Luke 1 & 2). From there, we head to Megiddo, an ancient city of King
Solomon and the site of the future battle of Armageddon (I Kings 9:15; Rev. 16:16). We
will then return to the Jordan River for a Baptismal Service.
Dinner and final overnight in Tiberias.
THE DELUXE 11 DAY HOLY LAND TOUR:

and its breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley. We will also tour the ruins of Beth Shean
- a fascinating city that you will truly enjoy exploring. Then it is down the east side of
Israel en route to Eilat. We will stop at Qumran, the archaeological site where they found
the Dead Sea Scrolls. Our next stop will be the Dead Sea. Here we will enjoy an afternoon at the Hod Resort. You will be able to enjoy the famous spas and a full buffet lunch
on the shores of this amazing sea. In the early evening we will depart for Eilat, where
we will have dinner and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this 5-star hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the Dan Panorama in Eilat.
Day 06 - Saturday, Jordan / Petra
Today we will depart from the hotel and cross the border into Jordan. We will be led on a
tour of the Rose-Red City of Petra. This historical and archaeological city is in the Jordanian governorate of Ma’an. It features rock-cut architecture and a water conduit system.
Established sometime around the 6th century BC as the capital city of the Nabataeans,
it is a symbol of Jordan as well as its most-visited tourist attraction.
Dinner and overnight at the Dan Panorama in Eilat.
Day 07 - Sunday, Masada / Ein-Gedi / Jericho / Jerusalem
After breakfast and checkout, we will depart Eilat and drive north to the fortress of
Masada. We will take the new, large cable car up for a visit to one of King Herod’s
palaces, which later became a Jewish landmark. We will then make a stop at Ein-Gedi.
This lush oasis in the desert is where David hid from King Saul (I Samuel 24:1-6). As
we continue north, we will be able to see in the distance the famous Old Testament city
of Jericho (Joshua 2 & 6; Mark 10:46; Luke 19:1).Then it’s on to Jerusalem, where we
will check-in at the luxurious Inbal hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 08 - Monday, Bethlehem (Tower of the Flock) / Old City Walking
Tour / Western Wall Tunnels / Pool of Bethesda / St. Anne’s Cathedral
After our buffet breakfast, we will travel to the site of our Lord’s birth, the Tower of the
Flock in Bethlehem (Micah 4). From here we will travel back to the heart of the city of
Jerusalem. As we enter the Old City walls, we come upon the Western Wall (Wailing Wall)
of Herod’s Temple. Beyond that lies the 35-acre temple area purchased by King David
(2 Samuel 24:18-25). On this site stands the magnificent Dome of the Rock (the third
holiest site in all of Islam). Then we tour the Old City streets and see the ancient ruins of
the Cardo. We will also have a fascinating time of discovery in the Rabbinical Tunnel Tourwhere you will be underground looking at the actual foundation stones of the Temple
Mount. At the end of the tour we will see a beautiful Crusader Church, St. Anne’s, and
the site of the Pool of Bethesda (John 5).

Day 10 - Wednesday, Upper Room / Caiaphas’ House / Gethsemane / Calvary / Garden Tomb / Farewell Dinner
After breakfast this morning, our tour will trace the final days of our Savior’s ministry. We
will first go to the site of the Upper Room, a place similar to the room of the Last Supper
(Mark 14:22-25).Then it’s on to the house of Caiaphas, where Jesus was brought after
His arrest (Matthew 26).Then we will experience the spiritual highlight of our tour. We
start with a time of devotion at Gethsemane and then head to Calvary, the Place of
the Skull. We will have a special time of Communion at the Garden Tomb. This will be a
moving time of reflection and dedication as we pray at the place where our Savior died
and rose again. After our farewell dinner, we will head to Tel Aviv to catch our evening
flight home.
Day 11 - Thursday, USA / New York / Chicago
This morning we arrive in New York. We will depart the plane which will give us a chance
to stretch our legs and clear U.S. customs. After a couple hours of layover, we will catch
our connecting flight for our short trip back to Chicago.
