This luxury hotel in La Coronilla has 25 large private rooms with private bathrooms, ultra comfortable queen size beds, a spacious living
area and bar, a fine dining room with a fire place, and wireless internet, guests have only to rest and relax during their wing-shooting
vacation. Spa and indoor heated swimming pool are some of the many amenities available at the hotel.
Our onsite chef and wait staff will provide endless appetizers, gourmet meals, and full breakfasts during each day of your visit, while
fine wine, beer, and premium liquor can all be enjoyed at will.

THE SHOOTING
Very few countries boast the variety of species that migrate through Uruguay, and the
Portela Brothers provide the best opportunity to experience the challenge that each
species presents. As our guest your travels will be rewarded with a mixed bag of
waterfowl opportunities.
Mornings of ultra-high volume duck hunting where up to 11 species of ducks can be
taken on a given day followed by an afternoon perdiz hunt or just relaxing at the hotel
all can be arranged as desired. Restrictions on the hunting of some species may apply,
accordingly whit the government regulations.

Like all legendary hunting lodges, the reason for our succes is our location!
Situated in the largest rice producing province of Uruguay, Black River Outfitters has the most exclusive duck and perdiz territories
anywhere in the entire country. With secluded lagoons, ponds, fields, and pot-holes scattered across eastern Uruguay, the Portela
Brothers ensure quality shooting opportunities during every outing.
Pato Diablo Lodge is located in the east region of Uruguay in the state of Rocha near the Brazilian town of Chuy. The hotel is
approximately 215 miles from Montevideo, the capital of this small country.
Most commonly, shooters traveling on international flights to Montevideo International Airport will be met by a Pato Diablo Lodge
representative who will assist with gun clearance, if necessary, and who will transport the group to Pato Diablo Lodge. The drive is
approximately 3.5 hours through scenic rural Uruguay via paved highway.
Other options which may be considered are:
Private Charter from Montevideo: guests arriving into Montevideo may charter to the Rocha Airport (30-minute flight) located
approximately 45 minutes from the lodge.
Important: all charters need to be arranged time in advanced and cost may vary according to size group and fuel cost.
Privet Charter from Buenos Aires: charters are also available directly to Uruguay from Buenos Aires Argentina Capital.
