Pre-Kindergarten - St. Peter`s School
My name is Meagan Humbert and
I am the Pre-K Teacher. This is my 4th
year here at St. Peter's and I LOVE it. I
have my undergrad from Towson
University and I have my Master’s in
Early Childhood from Notre Dame of
Maryland. As you can tell by my
picture, I love all things
!
Here in Pre-K we like to have fun
while learning and developing the skills
needed to be successful in school. I
am so excited to have your little ones
this year and I look forward to the
adventurous days ahead of us.
My name is Delani Norman and I
am the Pre-K Aide. This my 10th year
with the school. I’ve had two
daughters go through St. Peter’s and

First Day on the new Playground!
Pre-K Easter Egg Hunt
I wanted to thank all of you for participating in this months family project.
For your enjoyment I’ve included some pictures from today. The Leprechaun
came to our classroom! He made a big mess, ate our chocolates, and left
dirty green footprints everywhere. Lucky for him we did not catch him but we
did find some of his gold!!! The children are very excited about their very own
Leprechaun Gold. (Tried to get a picture of every child, some were a little too
fast for me.) Mrs. Humbert
First Impression of the
Leprechaun's mess.
Evan says “Oh no he
ate our chocolate.”

Lily didn't catch the
Leprechaun but she
did catch his hat!
Erin found some gold!
Ryleigh tore apart her
trap looking to see if
she caught him. No
luck but she found
gold!
Dr. Seuss Week!
As a teacher, this is my ultimate favorite week of
school. I love to see the excitement in the
student’s faces when they hear a Dr. Seuss story,
make a craft or do an activity that correlates to
the stories we've read.
One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish– Fishing and graphing Fun!
We do like green eggs and ham!!!
Happy 101 Days of School!!!
Pre-K celebrated 101
days of school! We loved
our Dalmatian themed
party. We made a
Dalmatian craft, we
gave our class
Dalmatian 101 spots, and
we even got to watch
the movie 101
Dalmatians!

September
Community Helpers
The last two weeks in September Pre-K learned all about community helpers.
We leaned all about different jobs in our community. Here are some of
our favorite days….One day we were police officers and helped to solve the
case of the missing teddy bear. We helped a baker make and decorate
cookies! Our favorite day was when real firefighters came to visit and talked
to us about fire safety.
September
Pre-K learned all about their 5 senses! We tasted a few foods,
smelled some good and not so good smells, touched lots of
different textures, saw a lot of beautiful pictures, and listened to
the sounds around us.
Pope Francis came to play with Pre-K!!!
Pre-K had a great first week of school! They learned all
about our school rules, how to clean-up, polite manners, and
even visited a few specials.
A few things to look forward to in September: Fire Safety
(visit from a real life firefighter), My community unit, and our 5
senses unit.
*** Attention Parents: our pumpkin farm field trip is OCT 22***
