MIRANDA ALVAREZ (Cassandra)
is a first year secondary education and
English double major from Easton, PA.
Previous credits include Ursula March
in Sweet Charity (Easton Area High
School). She is the 2019 class president
and a member of The Crestiad. This is
her Cedar Crest College stage debut.
ROXANNE T. AMICO* ∆ (Set &
Lighting Design, Chair, Performing
Arts) has been a professor at Cedar
Crest College since 1981. She holds
an M.F.A. in stage design from
Northwestern University and a B.A. in
theatre and English from Heidelberg
University. She is the current chair of
the Performing Arts Department and
also served as chair from 1985-2006.
During that time, she also served five
years as dean of Academic Services,
dean of the faculty and in 2007 acting
provost. She has designed well over 150
productions for Cedar Crest including
over 300 individual designs for scenery,
lighting and costumes. She has been
a scenic artist member of the United
Scenic Artists Local 829 since 1980.
TIM BROWN*∆ (Director) director/
actor/playwright has directed and
acted in dozens of productions both
regionally and nationally. A member
of the Society of Stage Directors and
Choreographers (SSDC), his work has
been seen across the United States and
Europe. Credits include CHICAGO,
Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Trust, Eurydice,
Spitfire Grill, Big Love, Metamorphoses,
Dear Edwina, Proof, The Early Girl, The
House of Bernarda Alba (Cedar Crest
College), Batboy! The Musical and
A Christmas Story (Theatre Outlet),
and The Clean House (Pennsylvania
Playhouse). As artistic director of
Funkopolis, Tim wrote/directed

premiere -Theatre Project, Baltimore).
His homage to Richard Foreman,
Words from Richard, was invited to the
Istropolitana International Festival of
Puppetry. He was assistant director
for the Broadway premiere of Squonk
(Helen Hayes Theatre, N.Y.). Tim
earned his M.F.A. in theatre from
Towson University and his B.A. in
theatre and English from Marquette
University in Milwaukee. Director of
Cedar Crest’s award-winning forensic
speech team, he also serves as the
regional district chair for the American
Forensics Association.
JACLYN DECARLO (Nina) is a senior
dance and English double major from
Brick, NJ. Previous Cedar Crest College
credits include ensemble in Nunsense,
ensemble in Completely Hollywood,
Echo in Polaroid Stories and Sybil in
Cover of Life. She is a member of Nu
Delta Alpha, Buskin Society, Alpha Psi
Omega, and the Forensic Speech Team.
KYLE ENGLISH (Understudy) is a
first year art therapy and psychology
double major from Benton,
PA.
Previous credits include Ape/Professor
Porter in Tarzan, Lily St. Regis in
Annie, Betty Blast in Footloose, and
Nancy in Bye Bye Birdie (all Benton
High School). She is a member of Out
There, Art Club, and Buskin Society.
MIKE FEBBO (Vanya) is from
Bethlehem, PA. Previous stage credits
include ensemble in Metamorphoses
(Cedar Crest College), Joe Pitt in
Angels in America Parts I & II (Civic
Theatre), R.P. McMurphy in One
Flew Over the Cuckooo’s Nest (PA
Playhouse), and Man in Chair in The
Drowsy Chaperone (PA Playhouse).

KEVIN GALLAGHER* (Technical
Director) has been the technical
director at Cedar Crest College since
2000. He was the production manager
at the Barter Theatre (Lort D) in
Abingdon, Va., technical director for
Emerson College in Boston, Mass.,
and at Ramapo College in Mahwah,
N.J. Kevin received his M.F.A. from
the University of Connecticut and a
B.A. from DeSales University (formerly
Allentown College).
LAUREN GRIGOLETTI (Assistant
Stage Manager) is a sophomore arts
administration major with minors
in psychology and art history from
Washington, NJ. Previous Cedar Crest
College credits include Bonnie in Sealed
for Freshness and ensemble in Completely
Hollywood.
SARAH SLAW KIEWE (Sonia) is a
junior social work major with a minor
in theatre from Blairstown, NJ. Previous
Cedar Crest College credits include
Smee in Peter Pan, Rita in Cowgirls, and
Tood in Cover of Life. She is a member
of Buskin Society, Alpha Psi Omega and
Social Work Club.
ALEXIS JIZELLE MACATANGAY
(Assistant Stage Manager) is a junior
new media and media studies double
major from Dayton, NJ. Previous Cedar
Crest College credits include sound
board operator for Nunsense, ensemble
for Completely Hollywood, sound board
operator for Peter Pan, and Tracy Ann
in Sealed for Freshness. She is a member
of Buskin Society, Out There and the
Cedar Crest College Community Choir.
ABBY ORMISTON (Stage Manager)
is a junior media studios major with
minors in writing and theatre from
Weatherly, PA. She is a member of
Buskin Society and The Crestiad.
VICTORIA SCOVENS (Masha) is
a first year theatre and dance double
major from Bethlehem, PA. Previous
credits include Velma Von Tussle in
Hairspray and Irene Roth in Crazy For
You (all with Freedom High School
Theatre Co.) and The Sour Kangaroo
in Seussical (Third Mask Theatre Co.).
Previous Cedar Crest College credits
include Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense.
She also choreographed Broughal
Middle School’s 2015 production of
Seussical Jr. and will be choreographing
their 2016 production of Hairspray Jr.
BRIAN STRACHAN
(Costume Designer) is the resident Costume designer and Costume Coordinator at Cedar Crest College. He holds a
M.F A. in costume design from Temple
University. He has designed costumes
for many companies in the Philadelphia
area, including the Bucks County Playhouse, Lantern Theater, Philadelphia
Shakespeare Festival and Enchantment
Theater Company. He has designed
dance costumes for the Koresh dance
Company, Sharp Dance Company and
Marie Mulgrew and dancers. Mr. Strachan has also done costumes for The
University of the Arts in Philadelphia,
PA and Ursinus College.
GORAN ZDRAVKOVIC (Spike)
is from Allentown, PA. Previous
stage credits include OJ Berman &
Jose in Breakfast At Tiffany’s (Civic
Theatre of Allentown), Jacob Marley
in A Christmas Carol (Civic Theatre
of Allentown), Terence Hearsay/
Murderer in A Shropshire Lad (Crowded
Kitchen Players), and assistant director
of Over The River And Through The
Woods (Global Impactors Group.)

About the Department of Performing Arts
The mission of the performing arts majors at Cedar Crest College is to
encourage and develop individual artists, prepare students for future study
in the performing arts and to make available multiple perspectives in dance
and theatre through experiential work, foundational information and skills
for all students and offer individual mentoring of advanced students.
