Use
Types 463111B2 and 463114B2 are used for evaluating the signals from safety sensors. All elobau sensors with a 2-N.O. system can be connected to the unit. This unit can be used in any machine safety
application requiring SIL 2, PL d. Due to its compact design, the control unit is perfectly suited for
installation into small cabinets and machine housings.
Variants
Types 463111B2 and 463114B2 differ in respect to their operating voltages of 24 V DC or
230 V AC.

The integrated LEDs signal if the operating voltage is switched on and which sensors are connected.
After switching on the operating voltage, an automatic or monitored start is possible if all sensors
are operating properly.
Two safety sensors can be connected directly to the control unit. When using the following elobau
interfaces, the monitoring can be extended to up to 16 sensors:
