4. Beginners Quilting- Natasha
New baby coming? Newly retired? Just want to
learn to quilt? This is the class for you. In this very
in depth hands on class you will learn correct
cutting techniques, accurate seam allowance,
correct pressing and accurate measuring. All these
skills will provide you with the tools to create a
beautiful quilt that you will be really proud of.

5. Beginners Quilting Level 2- Natasha
Take the next steps in quilting. Create a
sampler quilt of various techniques. Each week
learn 2 different blocks and techniques. Great for
those who may need a refresher class on different
techniques. Also covered in class the new way to
put your binding on by machine!

Log Cabin in one of the most versatile quilts.
Great for all types of fabric and with strip piecing
techniques makes up in a flash! Great for everyone
in the family, one of my favorite quilts!

with stiff interfacing to create fun bags for just
about anywhere you may be headed! Consider
using one fabric, color or shade (dark or light) for
the vertical strips and a contrasting fabric or color

9. Divide by 3 Tablerunner- Natasha
Another great pattern from Mountainpeek
Creations. Feature a large print fabric and great
coordinates. This runner looks really pretty using Asian
prints, makes a great wallhanging too.
11. Twist and Twirl Placemats- Natasha
Another great pattern using the precut
placemat shapes. Fat quarter friendly and quick to
make. These mats would make great gifts for any
occasion.

use up some scraps? In this technique use a 30° ruler to
create the wedges to make this tablemat. A skill levels

10. Quilt as You Go Placemats- Natasha
A great class when you need a gift in a hurry! Using
precut and fusible bonded placemat templates add
fabric and away you go.

13. Hexie Mug Rug- Natasha
Description of ruler used to make this cute Mug Rug.
Create perfect pieced hexagons with 2in, 4in or 6in finished
centers by squaring up each round of strips as you go. Since
each round is squared up before the next set is added, the
blocks created are perfect hexagons. Or use the markings to
cut 2in to 8 in finished hexagons & every size in between.
15. A-Maze-ing Tablerunner- Natasha
This tablerunner is very interesting; by
combining two different block patterns you have a great
runner. Would be great in many fabric combinations but
in coffee prints I think would very fun!
In class learn to use the ruler and make a mug rug
too!

16. Backyard Fun Quilt- Natasha
Using just 2 tones of colour, create a very
visually stunning quilt. Not a difficult quilt to make
but very effective.

prints. So fresh using a white background or make it
modern with a grey background and funky prints. A very

Using a couple of charm packs make this great
quilt. A quilt that looks good in any fabric combination.

19. Nine Patch Lattice- Natasha
Set a pieced nine patch blocks on point and
create a really pretty quilt. Lots of open space for
quilting. This quilt is great for using your embroidery
machine to quilt in the open areas.

Another great quilt using 5” charm packs. Add a
couple great prints to compliment the prints and there
you have it! This quilt could easily be adapted to smaller

35. Knitted Cowls- Rebecca
We all have different tastes, so take
your pick! Choose from either the Shannon cowl, the
Marion cowl, or the Begbie cowl and join in on a cowl
knitting class. All three patterns are designed by local
knitwear designer Jane Richmond, and all offer a unique
style. Learn something new with each design. The
Shannon cowl has cable, the Marion cowl is knit in the
round, and the Begbie cowl has an interesting take on
yarn overs. Just one class long, you’ll learn the
technique of how to master your cowl. Come and have
fun!
