808. Tahitian Pearl Necklace and
Earring Set
Tahitian cultured pearls offer a dramatic
touch. The natural black color of these
pearls comes from the color of the
oyster's black lips.
This 18” necklace is crafted with
Tahitian pearls graduated from 11mm
up to 12mm. It features a 10mm clasp
in 14K white gold with a corrugated
bead catch.
The coordinating earrings are 9mm
Tahitian pearls with 14K white gold
posts and sterling silver backs.
Donated by Bob's Jewel Shop
809. Fund-the-Need
More than one million people in the United States
are faced with battling cancer each year. Whether
you have cancer or know someone who does
everyone is affected by cancer in one way or another,
friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers.
From the initial screening to diagnosis to treatment
to quality of life – cancer can be a financial burden
on a patient.
Scotland Memorial Foundation is able to offer a
Patient Assistance Fund at our Scotland Cancer
Treatment Center through the generous support of
numerous donors.
When Keisha Ridges, a Bennettsville native and
mother of 3, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the
age of 37, years old she prayed the Lord would send
her to the right place for treatment. “And He did.
Scotland Cancer Treatment Center is absolutely
wonderful. Everyone who works there is kind,
caring, and compassionate. Most of all, they gave
me hope,” says Keisha.
Funds raised through our annual Fund-the-Need this
year will go to support the patients, like Keisha, at
Scotland Cancer Treatment Center in several ways:
 Wigs and personal care items
 Limited assistance for non-covered
medications for treatment related side effects
 Gas assistance to and from treatments
 Alternative Therapeutic Services
- Art Therapy
- Dance Therapy
 Would also like to offer
- Music Therapy
- Massage Therapy
- Pet Therapy
Highland Society
The Highland Society was created for friends
who contribute at least $1,000 to Scotland
Memorial Foundation annually. We want to
recognize donors who have made that
commitment since January 1, 2014.
