Edelweiss Geary
Program: Legislation and the Role of Republican Women to Get It Done
We are proud to welcome Edelweiss Geary, Legislative Issues Chair for CFRW Northern Division
and CFRW Legislative Analyst, as our guest and speaker for June. She will speak on the legislative
process, the analysis CFRW completes on pending legislation and on the redistricting process that is
currently taking place in California.
Edelweiss firmly believes that Republican Women must be closely involved with legislation because
that is what we live by. Legislators on both sides of the aisle must hear from us. She will focus on the
legislative process in the legislature in Sacramento and what we can do to affect that process. And as
a follow-on to our May luncheon presentation, she will explain the work of the Redistricting Commission and what their current progress is.
