Meeting Spaces & Multi-Use Facilities
York County is no stranger to hosting major sporting events. Below is a
selection of events we have hosted in the past — trust us with your next event.
Meeting Spaces
NSA Girls World Series Cherry Park
Since 1989 over 3,500 softball teams have competed in the National Softball
Association’s Girls World Series at Cherry Park and other parks throughout York
County in both slow and fast pitch softball, making it one of the largest national
tournaments of each season.
U.S. Disc Golf Championship Winthrop University Gold Disc Golf Course
Borrowing ideas from the traditional game of golf, Harold Duvall and Jonathan Poole
began planning an event that would shape the future of disc golf’s competitive scene.
From those plans has grown the United States Disc Golf Championship. Through
its unique structure, highly acclaimed course, and distinct qualifying procedure, the
Championship has successfully established itself as one of disc golf’s most prestigious
events in the country.

environment was set for a great weekend of action. The product of a partnership
between the Carolinas, this event will remain in the memories of all those in attendance.

The Shrine Bowl was held at District 3 Stadium located in Rock Hill, SC from 2001-2003.

Shriners Hospital for Children far exceeds the competition on the field.
Rock Hill Bike Club Spring Omnium York County, SC
The Rock Hill Spring Bicycle Races have been held in early April since 1980 making the
Spring Races the longest continuously held bicycle race in South Carolina. High quality
racing, competent organization and an expanding race format (now a 3-day Omnium)
have made the RHBC races a fixture on USA Cycling’s racing calendar. Over 500 racers
now compete throughout York County in this exciting, truly international event.
Manchester Cup Invitational Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex
The Manchester Cup showcases the top college soccer teams in the South. It is played
each year at the new Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex and is hosted by Winthrop
University and the Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. All collegiate
teams participating must be either ranked regionally or nationally or have played
in the NCAA College Cup over a previous two year period assuring soccer fans of
quality competition each year. The Cup has 10 college teams and 4 high school teams
