Registration for the fall 2014 semester began today!

Fulbright Info Session
If THIS is the state of your plans…
Have you ever considered spending a year abroad
after you graduate, conducting research or
serving as an English Teaching Assistant? If so,
come learn about the Fulbright U.S. Student
Program! Tuesday, March 25th, 2:30-3:30 pm in
Pryz 327. General information about the program
and application process will be presented, and we
will have plenty of time to answer your questions!
If you would like more information about the
Fulbright program but are unable to attend this
informational session, please contact Julie
Yarwood, Fellowships Advisor

Be a chess piece at Medieval Day 2014
Reminder:
freshmen (unless newly-admitted to the UHP) meet with
Lisa Campbell;
new UHP admits, Business & Econ majors, and Liberal
Studies trackers meet with Dr. Paxton;
juniors preparing for Capstone meet with Dr. Shoemaker;
other upperclassmen meet with Jillian Moser or Katie
Purple.
Come celebrate all things medieval with Dr. Paxton
on Sunday, April 6, from 1 to 6 pm on the Pryz
Lawn. There will be medieval weapons
demonstrations, musical performances, crafts, and a
catapult! At 5pm we will stage our famous human
chess game. If you would like to be a chess piece,
please send an email to Dr. Paxton
([email protected]) so that she can send you a link to
the electronic signup.

Tour of the National Building Museum
Sunday, April 27
Explore DC’s museum of architecture, engineering, and
design! Past exhibits have featured sustainability projects,
Shakespearean theaters, World Fairs, modernist architecture,
and even LEGO buildings! Check out a video preview of a

Thursday night featured an intense Jeopardy!
competition for a Potbelly’s gift card! Team “Ghost
Ride The Whip,” made up of Brian Dawson, Andrew
Miller, Mallory Nygard, Liam McDonough, and Isaac
Kimmel, faced off with Team “MATS” (“Maria and the
Seniors”), made up of Sophie Gorman, Kevin Oriani,
AJ Kueppers, Annie Schrandt, and Maria Rodriguez.
