Following the successful training of 12 countries on West Africa Disaster Preparedness Initiative
in 2015, it has become necessary to review the WADPI curriculum for currency and relevance
towards training in 2016.
Over 30 WADPI consultants and facilitators gathered at the Kofi Annan International
Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) from the 3rd to 4th March, 2016 to review and update the
WADPI curriculum in anticipation of training for Guinea and Sierra Leone.
