USA Swimming Announces Japan International Grand Prix
Roster -- August 7, 2007
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, August 7. FIFTY-eight of the
nation's top swimmers will head to Chiba, Japan to compete in
the 2007 Japan International Grand Prix, Aug. 21-24.

The team features 2007 World Championship silver medalist
Kim Vandenberg (Moraga, Calif.), 2007 Pan American Games
gold medalist Randall Bal (Fair Oaks, Calif.), 2004 Olympian
Rachel Komisarz (Louisville, Ky.), and 2007 National Champion
Rebecca Soni (Plainsboro, N.J.). Two sets of siblings will also
compete in Japan, including Tara and Dana Kirk (Bremerton,
Wash.), and Melanie and Jonathan Roberts (Raleigh, N.C.).
USA Swimming officially named Chris Davis (Swim Atlanta) as
head coach for the American team at the Japan International
Grand Prix. Davis will be joined by assistant coaches Eric
Hansen (Wisconsin Aquatics), Cyndi Gallagher (UCLA
Swimming), Bill Dorenkott (Penn State University), Carol
Capitani (Athens Bulldog Swim Club), Paul Yetter (North
Baltimore Aquatic Club), and Bill Wadley (Ohio State Swim
Club).
