Subscribing to CWTD Podcasts on iPhone & iPad
… using iCatcher!
Mike Rodgers, KE5GBC is a faithful podcast listener of the Chat with the Designers (CWTD)
program and he HIGHLY recommends "iCatcher!" for getting the podcasts. I tried it and it
works fabulously on my iPad and iPhone … great for subscribing to the CWTD podcasts and
automatically downloading them when new ones get published!

NOTE: While iCatcher! is intended for use on Apple products, there are likely other podcast
subscription applications for the PC and Android platforms. The concept is relatively common
whereby the user subscribes to a program by linking to the RSS file for that program. (The RSS
file contains listings and online locations for the podcast files.)
Getting Started
iCatcher! may be purchased for $2.99 and downloaded by tapping the AppStore icon on your
iPhone or iPad and searching on “iCatcher!”
Here is what my main/start screen looks like:

To add a podcast, tap the "+" sign at the top. The screen below pops up:

Touch on Browse the web

Put www.cwtd.org in the box as shown

Scroll down to the Previous Episodes section on that page and tap the yellow highlight RSS feed.

Tap the Add Podcast button:

Tap on "download after subscribe” item, change to 0 or 1, and then tap the Subscribe button.
The podcast will be on your iCatcher start screen. To refresh podcast swipe down. I recommend
downloading on WiFi if you are worried about cellular data caps.
I think the one I downloaded was 30MB for a hour’s worth of listening, which is pretty good!
