Feeding Cows – 11
At 10.30am
A very small entry on offer today with the major part being extremely plain Holsteins, the ring was packed
with buyers and a very decent trade prevailed.

With James away in Scotland and Keith in charge of the sheep department it was down to me to sell the
calves today and although not a regular job, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Ironic today we had a record entry of 140 head for this popular Saturday fixture which is testament to the
support we have and Keith’s hard work in building this section.
Rearing Calves – 70
An excellent entry on offer with quality thin on the ground with run after run of black and whites
Newark regulars Ian and Steph Sharman led the way selling Charolais four week old bull calves to £350
