REGISTRATION: Register online at www.sgaumc.org/encounter or fill out the
attached registration form completely and mail along with
$130 registration fee to Connectional Ministries, ENCOUNTER,
P.O. Box 20408, St. Simons Island, GA 31522. $35.00 of this fee is nonrefundable after the deadline date of November 13, 2015. Please
send all registration forms and money for each church group together.
AGES: ENCOUNTER is for students in the 6th grade through the 12th grade.
COUNSELORS: Counselors are not provided for this event and are the
responsibility of the participants. Counselors must be at least 21 years of
age. There should be a 1:6 counselor/student ratio. Both genders must be
represented in counselors if represented with youth.
SCHEDULE: ENCOUNTER will begin on Friday with
registration starting at 5:00 P.M. The retreat will
conclude with lunch on Sunday. For more information,

SAFE SANCTUARIES: ENCOUNTER is a Safe Sanctuaries
compliant event. All adult chaperones must be Safe
Sanctuaries certified. A signed Safe Sanctuaries
