With the development of communication technology, more and
more enterprises begin to deploy wireless networks to manage
their own business. Demands and customer expectations to
such wireless solutions are very different to wireless solutions
deployed by public telecom operators. Huawei solutions offered
to our enterprise customers offer special applications for:
• Broadband services such as video streaming, image transfer,
maintenance data, etc.
• Mutil-bearer services supporting trunking, dispatching, point
to point and point to multipoint communications.
• Addressing work units through functional addressing and
location based call scenario.
• Flexibility to integrate a multitude of voice and data
applications already present or specific to enterprise scenario,
e.g. Passenger Information Systems, Smart Meters, etc.
• Easily constructed networks
• Networks with minimum requirements on maintenance
Wireless networks operated by Mobile Network Operators are
operated with very different business objectives than networks
operated by Enterprises. Enterprises built networks to smartly
and efficiently manage their business. Their business case is not
to maximize revenues through the telecoms network but to
improve operational performance of the underlying Enterprise
Business (e.g. a National Railway Network). For this Quality of
Services is considered very differently in such networks. Wireless
solutions which are fit for enterprise customers should be
suitable for small sized user groups, easy to construction and
maintain. Ideally operation and maintenance of such networks
should require a minimum of technology expertise within the
customer organization.
e3: Huawei Enterprise Wireless Solution
e3 is Huawei Enterprise Wireless Solution which can meet all these crucial requirements of enterprise customers. e3 consists of three
sub-solutions that are: eWBB, eWSE and eWEN.
eWBB: Enterprise Wireless Broad Band Solution
eWBB solutions are built on the LTE network, the most advanced wireless technology which represents the core of Huawei e3 solution.
eWBB solutions not only inherit the outstanding performance from LTE system, but also offer many valuable services such as video
surveillance and multimedia trunking for enterprise customers. Moreover, small core network, mini OSS, distributed BTS and isolated
site backhaul perfectly meet the requirements from different industries. With eWBB solutions, enterprise customers can build the most
optimized wireless network, such as air-to-ground broadband communication, emergency responding, and multimedia trunking system,
etc.
eWSE: Enterprise Wireless Single Evolution Solution
For enterprise customers from special industries, they tend to use standardized technology such like GSM-R for railway communication,
which can maximally save customers' investment. Huawei bear this in mind and thus promote eWSE solutions. For example, for the
eWSE- GSMR system (inherit from GSM) and the eWSE- Trustar system (inherit from CDMA2000), they have exactly the same hardware
platform with different software configuration only.
For our customers, it is more economical to deploy eWSE infrastructure first before the new standard becomes mature, which allows
smooth evolution to eWBB to save CAPEX. Moreover, eWSE & eWBB solutions can be put in one cabinet which allows flexible
equipment deployment.
eWEN: Enterprise Wireless Easy Networking Solution
Unlike telecom operators, enterprise customers wish to operate their networks with minimal technical skills during network design,
implementation, operation and maintenance. The network is used to improve business operations which lead to more novelty and
efficiency. eWEN solutions provide mini BTS OSS system in order to meet enterprise customers' requirements on easy networking, offer
features such like auto-planning, auto-optimization, simplified parameter configuration, integration management, etc. With eWEN
solutions, it will be easier and simpler for enterprise customers to operate and maintain their networks.
