COMMISSION POLICY ON LANDS ADMINISTERED
BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME
It is the policy of the Fish and Game
Commission that:
Lands under the administration of the Department be
made available to the public for fishing, hunting or other
forms of compatible recreation use, and for scientific
studies whenever such use or uses will not unduly
interfere with the primary purposes for which such
lands were acquired.
Furthermore, hunting and fishing do not constitute

undue interference, even if the land was acquired
primarily to protect threatened and endangered species
