For many years UFRA tyres have been a byword for quality in
foam rubber tyres. Many top drivers all over the world place their
trust in the exclusive foam rubber used by UFRA, which is bonded to high-quality wheels in Switzerland and finish-ground with
great accuracy. Large numbers of weekend drivers also appreciate
the crucial advantage in terms of grip offered by Ufra tyres. With
immediate effect Graupner / GM-Racing is able to supply all the 1 :
10 and 1 : 8 scale on-road foam rubber tyres made by the Ufra company. The special high-grip rubber provides the crucial advantage
in terms of adhesion, especially in so-called »low-grip« conditions,
combined with reduced rates of wear. As a good starting combination we recommend 36° tyres front and rear for 1 : 8 cars in ambient
temperatures of 20° C. For 1 : 10 scale models 38° front and 40°
rear are a good starting point. Basically the softer compounds offer
higher grip and the harder compounds lower grip, but combined with
reduced rates of wear. At lower temperatures softer compounds are
preferred; harder compounds are better at higher temperatures.
UFRA tyres for 1 : 10 scale VG10 scale models, incorporating new, harder yellow 12-size spoked wheels with
universal-fit hexagon mounting sockets.
This new harder wheel replaces the previous 96350.XX types. The
new exclusive wheel is optimised for maximum adhesion even at
high temperatures, and gives good duration in finals; they also provide excellent true-running. All wheels are equipped with standard
commercial hexagon drivers, and can therefore be used on virtually
any 1 : 10 scale electric or glow RC car. The rear tyres are 30 mm
wide, the front tyres 26 mm wide.

25 fuels we received many requests from competition drivers for an even »hotter« competition mix,
intended to provide absolute top performance and
even longer motor runs. So here it is: the Team
Special RS16 and Team Special RS25, designed
for competition purists who are capable of setting
up their motors perfectly, and extract maximum possible power from them. The low oil content of these
fuels - Order Nos. 2644.2L and 2645.2L - makes
them suitable exclusively for active competition use,
as they are produced using very special ingredients
and additives. Hobby and sport drivers should
certainly continue to use the previous fuels RS16,
Order No. 2642.2L, or RS25, Order No. 2643.2L,
which give extremely reliable results. Please refer
to the table to select the most suitable fuel for your
purpose. It is up to you to decide whether you are a
“weekend” driver or a true “racer”.

With the introduction of the new BRUSHLESS EVO 3 motors GM-Racing has succeeded in developing highly efficient motors
which set new standards in terms of reliability
and performance.
• Multiple extra-thick windings together with
an extremely low-loss design and sintered
neodymium magnets ensure enormous
power and high efficiency.
• A thicker shaft provides for better true-running of the magnets.
• Cooling slots and an integral cooling fan
keep the motors at reasonable temperatures even under the harshest competition
conditions. The result is that the GM-Racing
BRUSHLESS EVO 3 motors achieve constant levels of performance and efficiency
which can only be reached briefly by
brushed motors due to friction of the carbon
brushes and subsequent overheating.

• Special extra-powerful plastic-bonded upgrade magnets are available as accessories: for competitions in which plastic-bonded
neodymium magnets are prescribed or in
which a different performance characteristic
is desired, the upgrade magnets, Order No.
97215.1, are fitted as a substitute for the
original magnets. These upgrade magnets
are a special development for GM-Racing,
and are around 30% more powerful than
bonded military spec. neodymium types;
they fit both the BRUSHLESS EVO 3 and
the BRUSHLESS EVO 2 motor. Rotational
speed with these magnets is around
10 – 15% higher than with standard sintered neodymium magnets, combined with
reduced current drain and slightly higher
maximum efficiency. For this reason these
magnets are also a particularly good choice
for slippery surfaces and 1 : 12 model cars.
