Product Description
The Mobilgrease HP Series is premium, lithium complex, extreme pressure greases intended for a wide variety
of applications. They are based on high quality mineral oils of ISO VG 100 and 220 respectively, and are
formulated to provide excellent high temperature performance with good adhesion, structural stability and
resistance to water. These greases have a high level of chemical stability and offer excellent protection against
rust and corrosion. The maximum operating temperature for the Series is 175ºC. Published proof of performance
testimonials demonstrate the superiority of Mobilgrease HP greases versus competitive products in on- and
off-highway heavy equipment (chassis, wheel bearings and bucket pins) and conveyor idler bearings. In laboratory
tests Mobilgrease HP greases exhibit longer high temperature service life than competitive lithium complex
greases. The Mobilgrease HP Series does not contain lead, chlorine or nitrites.

Applications
Mobilgrease HP 103 is recommended for severe applications where good high temperature and anti-leakage
properties are required. It is formulated from ISO VG 100 base oil and is NLGI 3 Grade grease. It is particularly
recommended for severe truck wheel bearing applications or for rolling element bearings subject to
vibration.Mobilgrease HP 222 is also formulated with an ISO VG 220 base oil but is of NLGI 2 Grade consistency. It
is a heavy-duty grease, recommended for automotive and industrial anti-friction bearings and chassis
components. It is also recommended for marine applications.
