Equipment Program
As a managing general underwriter, we work on behalf of top-rated insurance

industry. Our program covers equipment of all types and sizes, including forestry,
agricultural, and other kinds of equipment that many carriers will not underwrite.
Whether you have a single tractor or millions of dollars worth of industrial
equipment, we can provide access to the coverage you need at competitive prices —
all tailored to your unique exposures. We offer fast policy quoting, low deductibles,
and responsive claims handling — as well as direct billing and flexible payment
options for most accounts.
Protecting all classes of equipment
If it rolls or moves, our program can cover it. Eligible equipment includes:
• Agricultural: Tractors, combines, center pivots, harvesters, implements
• Construction: Dozers, cranes, material lifts, excavators, forklifts, pavers
• Wood yards: Chippers, delimbers, loaders, skid-steer loaders
• Sawmills: Log splitters, portable sawmills, conveyors
• Forestry: Skidders, feller bunchers, yarders, skycars
• Personal: Lawn and garden equipment, small tractors, trailers, ATVs
Additionally, all classes of equipment can be underwritten on a standalone
policy or in conjunction with another Safehold Special Risk program. Individual
lines of coverage include:
• Property
• Rented or leased equipment
• Rental reimbursement
• Miscellaneous tools
• Replacement cost
• Additional coverage
For cranes, our program offers coverage for rigging and hook liability, including
temporary location, transit, and on-hook. Computer coverage is also available
for hardware, software, and business income when the coverage is written in
conjunction with other scheduled equipment.
