The Sustainment Training Center (STC) can train
your ARNG Full-Time Maintenance Technicians &
M-Day Traditional Soldiers in the Inspection,
Troubleshooting and Repair of the M1A2 SEPv2
Abrams Main Battle Tank. The STC has
developed an 80 hour Training Package. The
core fundamental teaching point of this course is
focused towards training troubleshooting and
diagnosis
procedures along with major
differences between the M1A1 and M1A2 SEPv2
Systems. The course ensures the student leaves
with the knowledge to adequately identify
problems and implement correct repairs. This
maintenance training is not MOS producing, but is
quality instruction that will provide your ARNG
Maintenance Technician & M-Day Traditional
Soldier with the necessary skill sets to maintain
the M1A2 SEPv2 Abrams Tank systems.

This course is in the ATRRS School Reservation
System under School Code 952, Course Number
964-M1A2. The course has prerequisites. Ensure
you check the ATRRS prerequisite screen prior to
enrolling. For further information, contact Mr.
Mark Rushing at the STC Tech Maintenance
operations at 515-727-3579/3584, DSN 4313579/3584.
Technicians/Soldiers attending the instruction are
expected to attend this training in a paid status.
The cost to the states for sending their
Maintenance Technicians/Soldiers is travel to and
from Camp Dodge, food subsistence off the local
economy and lodging. Lodging is available on
Camp Dodge at $24.00 per night for a single
room, queen size bed and shared latrine.
