The Remembrance Tree will be placed on the Altar during the
month of November to remember and honor our loved ones
who have died. The tree will be on the Altar beginning November 1st. Cards and holders will be there for you to write the
names of those who have died. The Mass in observance of the Day of the
Dead will be on Wednesday, November 6th at 4:00pm after the event

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and
earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord
Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father
before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God
from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the
Father; through him all things were made; For us men and for
our salvation he came down from heaven,
(all bow) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin
Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered

During the July 13 apparition to the three shepherd children at Fatima in 1917, in addition to the request for prayers “for sinners
who have no one to pray for them,” Our Lady also assured the children that devotion to her Immaculate Heart would provide a safe
refuge for many souls which otherwise be lost. For this reason, she told the children, Jesus wished to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The fruits of this devotion, Our Lady told the children, would be powerful—indeed, they would be worldwide in effect. In particular,
Our Lady wanted Russia consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, and she said that she would return at a later date specifically to request this consecration.
Two of the Fatima visionaries, Jacinta and Francisco, died young. The third Lucia, entered a convent. In 1929, twelve years after
the apparitions at Fatima, Our Lady returned to Lucia to request the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart. The consecration was to be made by the Pope in concert with all the bishops of the world.
The history of this request, and its partial fulfillments by several popes over the next half century is, in fact, the “hidden history”—
political, economic and military—of the better part of the twentieth century. I’ll provide a thumbnail sketch of it, next week..

Lord hears the cry of the poor. Have I been given the gifts
—of time or money or abilities—to be the means by which
God answers their need?

If for any reason you are unable to attend Mass and would like to
receive the Host at home, please call the Parish Office. / Si por

BAPTISMS / BAUTISMOS:
Parents must complete the Baptism Registration form
available in the parish office at least two months in advance
and attend the required baptism class. You must provide a
copy of the child’s birth certificate. Godparents may also
attend the same class or attend one at their local parish and
obtain a completion certificate. When choosing your child’s
Godparents, please bear in mind that they must be baptized,
confirmed, receive communion regularly in the Church and, if
married, they must be married in the Catholic Church. There
can be NO exceptions to these rules.
Los padres tienen que llenar la forma de Registro para
Bautizos disponible en la oficina parroquial por lo menos dos
meses antes y asistir a la clase de
bautismos requerida. Usted tiene que traer una copia del
certificado de nacimiento del bebé. Los Padrinos también
tienen que asistir a la misma clase o asistir a una en la
parroquia local de ellos y obtener un
