The Maldon Blackwater Model Boat Club will be
demonstrating their boats on the boating lake but
are very keen for you to have a go. So why not
give it a try?. There will be music and other free
entertainment, including a band and dancing on
the patio of the Queens Head in the evening.
We would like to thank all those who have rallied
around to make the regatta, in difficult circumstances, an event not to be missed again this
year.

Mischief
Despite the trials and tribulations of the Hythe
Quay partially collapsing into the River Blackwater last winter the Maldon Town Regatta is taking
place and will be as much fun as usual. On the
water; sailing, rowing and of course the duck
race. On shore this year the stalls have been
moved on to the prom in the park. This will possibly give a better view of the duck race and an
excellent opportunity to get your camera out to
photo some of the spectacular vessels in the
Parade of Sail.
