Toprovidecompressedairduringproceduresandexamsconductedbyqualifiedpersonnel.
Electromagnetic Interference
AllJDSoil-lesscompressorsaredesignedandmanufacturedtominimizeelectromagneticinterferencewithotherdevices.
However,ifinterenceisnoticedbetweenanotherdeviceandtheseunits:
-Removeinterferingdevicefromroom
-Plusinterferingdeviceintoanisolatedcircuit
-Increaseseparationbetweenunitandinteferingdevice
-ContactJDSifinterferenceremains
Disposal of Equipment
Attheendofproductlife,goodsandotheraccessories,includingtheunit,maybecomecontaminatedfromnormaluse.Consultlocalcodes
andordinancesforproperdisposalofequipment,accessoriesandotherconsumablegoods.
Installation
Note:Compressorsystemmustbeinstalledinanairconditionedorventilatedroomtoensureoperationalambient
temperature.A6"clearanceisrequiredbehindtheunitandonesidetoallowairflow.Failuretodosocancausepremature
lossofsystemperformanceandvoidwarranty.Also,donotinstallwithinpatientvincinityduetoelevatedtemperatures.
1.Removecompressorandaccessoriesfrombox.
2.Movecompressortoadry,wellventilateareaonasolid,levelsurface.
3.Installrubberfeet(Included).
4.Attachexhaustsilencerintobottomofsolenoid.
5.Connectfreshairintakefilterwiththeprovidedfittings.
WARNING:
Alwaysdisconnectthepowerbefore
servicing.Thesurfacesofthecompressor
head(s)canbecomeveryhotdepending
onusage.Donottouchthesepartsduring
ordirectlyafteroperation.

6.ConnectremotepanelwirestoLowVoltageControlwires.(RefertotheControlPanelReferenceCrossWiringchartinsideofcover.)
7.ConnectConduitCabletousersuppliedelectricalbox.
8.Checktoseethattheshut-offvalveisclosed.
9.Turnpoweron.On/Offswitchesarelocatedinsidethecompressorelectricalbox.
10.Usesoapywatertocheckforleaks.
11.Opentheshut-offvalveslowlyandallowairtoflowintotheofficeairsystem.
12.Allowabout30secondsfortheofficeairlinestopressurize.Checkpressuregauge.
13.Checkgaugereadingafter10minutes.(Ifpressuregaugedrops,anairleakexists.Locateandrepairtheleak)

Installation

ConnectthegrayPVCthatisattachedtothecompressor
headsbyvinylhoses.Connecttheintakeoftheairfilter
toanoutsideairsource.Ifnosuchconnectiontothe
outsideairexists,donotconnecttheintakeportionof
thefilter.
AppliestomodelsJOC22andJOC32.
ConnectthegrayPVCthatisattachedtothecompressor
headsbyvinylhoses.Connecttheintakeoftheairfilter
toanoutsideairsource.Ifnosuchconnectiontothe
outsideairexists,donotconnecttheintakeportionof
thefilter.
LowVoltageControlPanelWiring
Wheninstallingcontrolpanel,refertothecontrolpanelinstallationguideforinstructionsonhowtoconnectlowvoltage
wiresproperly.
Note:Topreventmoisturefromenteringthecompressor:
-Incomingfreshairtemperaturemustnotexceedroomtemperaturebymorethan20degreesFarenheitor-6degrees
Celsius.
-Freshairintakeshouldberoutedtooutsideairsource
-Tightbendsinhosesmaycausethemtocollapseandmayleadtoequipmentfailure.
