THIS event got to see one of the most awaited vampire movies, and
that too in 3D! Raj Sethia organised the premiere show of Priest at
Fun Cinemas, where he invited some of the city’s most ardent movie
fans, which also included actors and models. Everyone seemed
quite kicked about this film, for a lot has been spoken this film.
Everyone seemed to be in time to get to this place, where they got
their popcorns and colas in place before they got into the movie
halls. We spotted a whole host of Sandalwood actors at this do.
These included Tilak, Meghana, Tejaswini and Shirin. We also spotted a few models at the do. Gal pals Neema and Dayana Erappa
were hanging out together through the screening.

AKSHAY Kumar turned up for the premiere of Ekta Kapoor’s paranormal
film with a friend and sat and
watched the movie as well. Amitabh
Bachchan and Raveena Tandon
stopped by briefly, only to wish the
producerni and dad Jeetendra,
before leaving. Ekta herself
arrived in an autorickshaw that
had stickers promoting her
film. Celina Jaitley, Shriya
Saran and the film’s heroine Kainaz Motivala
showed up as well. There
was a black carpet
instead of a red one
and celebs were handed black roses as they
came in to watch the
horror film. The movie
started a little after
Thursday midnight, on
Friday the 13th, after a
deliberate blackout followed by soft lights
shimmering in the auditorium. The TV brigade —
including Anita
Hassanandani, Hiten
Tejwani, Urvashi Dholakia,
Chetan Hansraj, Kushal
Punjabi — was there in
strength while others who
showed up included Samir
Soni with Neelam and
Gulshan Grover.

Surendranath hosted a
belated bash for Rohit Bal’s
birthday, post his Delhi-celebrations a few days ago.
Neetu Chandra was the
first to enter though Rohit
himself came in late
because of a delayed flight.
Yash Birla and Sheetal
Mafatlal bonded and the
latter was also seen in a
friendly mode with Manish
Malhotra. Farhan and Laila
Khan Furniturewala spent
time separately with their
male and female friends
respectively. Anu and
Shashi Ranjan walked in
together as did Rouble Nagi
and Maheka Mirpuri. Said
Aarti “Gudda is like family
to us and we’ve invited
some of the friends he has
a connect with, in
Mumbai.” Rohit went ballistic when he saw lotuses
blooming in the room,
because that’s apparently a
