NEW THIS YEAR - LIVE LESSONS:
Teacher will begin by sharing pertinent information with attendees, including the student's background,
game and health. The student will hit approximately six shots into a net which will be recorded by two
video cameras as well as Trackman to give ball flight numbers. Camera views and Trackman numbers
will be displayed on two large screens. After approximately five swings, the assigned teacher will ask the
audience to take five minutes to write down what they see, when they see it and how they would make
adjustments or changes. The instructor will share what they would do with the student and why.
Assigned teachers will take approximately 20 minutes for questions sent via text from the audience.
On Sunday, Jan. 18, Golf Magazine will announce their Top 100 and Hall of Fame Introduction. At the
conclusion of the day's program, Golf Magazine will host a reception for all attendees, honoring the latest
inductees into the World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame.

PGA JLG Captains & Coaches,
Now is the time to start planning for 2015 PGA JLG season following the success of the 2014 campaign
which saw 44 teams participate in the North Florida Section among the 1,400+ nationwide!
Prior to the PGA Show expect additional news regarding opting in for the 2015 season on the updated
website. Captains aren’t required to re-register but should let their PGA JLG representative know if they
plan on adding teams or creating their own league. Every player will need to be registered in 2015 and
when parents do they will be able to select their junior(s) jersey size. In addition, Captains will also have
an opportunity to purchase matching team hats for their squads this season.
Also, if you would like physical or electronic versions of the recruiting materials to help reach your
juniors let us know and we’ll have them sent to your attention immediately.
Finally, we’re excited to announce a new league for those players graduating out of the traditional 13 &
under with our new U-16 league. Detailed information will follow in January but here are a few important
notes:
1. Must be a returning 2014 PGA JLG Captain or Coach
2. Teams are made up of 4-6 participants with two matches per team competition (instead of four matches)
3. Host your own league (you only need 16 players)...or join with existing teams in your PGA-JLG League to
create this new Division
4. Postseason will be comprised solely of Sectional Invitational Tournaments
Thanks again, looking forward to a great 2015 season!
Keith Johnson, PGA of America

Q. A player's ball lies under a bush and it is clearly impracticable for the player to make a stroke at it.
However, the ball lies on a mound made by a burrowing animal. Is the player entitled to relief without
penalty under Rule 25-1b?
