Our
Health Club
As a Belton Woods lodge guest you can enjoy full use of our health club facilities which
include a state of the art gym with cardio equipment, free weights and resistance machines.
If you fancy a game of tennis or squash, just pre-book a court at Hotel Reception. We can even
hire you racquets. You can also join one of our excellent fitness classes, for a small fee.
If that all sounds a little too exhausting, take a dip in our swimming pool before relaxing in
our sauna, whirlpool and steam room.
Towels are provided at the health club so all you need to remember is £1 for your locker.

We recommend that you book as far ahead
as possible for your spa treatments to avoid
disappointment, but do also check with our

Arrival
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to
your appointment time to ensure you
receive the full treatment.
Special Requests
Please inform a member of staff if
you are pregnant or have any medical
considerations so that they can discuss with
you which treatments are suitable for you.
Cancellation Policy
Credit card details are required to secure
a spa appointment. Treatments which are
cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice
will be charged at the full treatment price.

We can also offer excellent team-building activities from quad-biking
to casinos.

Our in-house professional team can create a bespoke event to make sure

Glorious
Golf
At Belton Woods we have two challenging 18 hole golf courses and a 9 hole par 3 to test
golfers of all handicaps. We also boast excellent practice areas, a pro shop with all the
latest equipment and an excellent driving range for coaching tips from the pros.
Oh, and the setting’s mesmerising!
The Lakes Course, our beautiful par 72 Championship course, is peppered with water
hazards and tricky approaches to many greens. The holes are long and the fairways tight,
so anything wayward from the tee could result in you having to lay up in front of the
water. An exciting challenge for any golfer, the 9th hole is over 600 yards, one of the
longest in Europe .

There’s plenty to explore in and around Belton Woods. You could simply take a moment or two to walk round the gardens and
admire the flora and fauna. Or, stretch your legs a little further with a walk on Belton Woods’ exquisite estate. If you’ve worked
up an appetite, relax and taste some of our locally inspired dishes or take afternoon tea on the hotel terrace.
Belton House
17th century country house with magnificent interiors,
beautiful gardens, extensive parkland and the largest
children’s adventure playground in Lincolnshire.
Distance: Opposite the entrance to the hotel
Lincoln Cathedral
One of the finest medieval buildings in Europe,
Lincoln Cathedral dominates the skyline and has
a stunning visual impact.

Burghley House
The largest and grandest Elizabethan house in England,
the property itself is well worth a visit and regular events
are also hosted here throughout the year including
Burghley Horse Trials.

Accounts
To be settled on departure unless credit facilities have been
agreed in writing. All major credit cards accepted subject to a
fee of £2.50 per transaction.
Airport
The nearest airport is Nottingham East Midlands which is
38 miles away.
Alarm Calls
Can be set via your television remote control. Alternatively,
please call reception to arrange.
Banks
Local banks and opening hours are available from Reception
Car Parking
Car parking is complimentary. Disabled parking is situated
adjacent to the mail entrance for cars displaying the
appropriate badge. Please ensure your car is locked and
remove all valuables. We cannot accept responsibility for any
damage to your car or property stolen from it, while parked
on the premises. Two car park spaces are available outside
each lodge.

Self drive car hire may be arranged via Reception

These can be organised with Housekeeping by telephoning

Children’s Facilities and Services
We have a privately run nursery called Woodlands Nursery
which is Ofsted approved. Woodlands is open daily and
pre-booking is essential. Please call 4347 for availability
and prices. There is an outdoor children’s play area located
adjacent to the tennis courts.
Electrical Mains
The voltage is 240 except for the shaving point in your
bathroom. You are recommended not to charge your
shaver from the bathroom socket, nor to plug in any other
electrical appliance.
Emergency and Security Procedures
Fire evacuation procedures are displayed on the back
of your bedroom door. Fire alarm tests take place at
3pm every Monday.
First Aid
For first aid supplies or assistance please contact Reception
on 0. A dedicated first aider is available 24 hours a day.
Florists
Reception can organise flowers on your behalf. Chocolates
and other celebratory items are also available.
Grounds
There are three nature trails for you explore at Belton Woods
with the chance of spotting some of our abundant birdlife
including buzzards, barn owls, Canadian geese and sparrow
hawks. Trail details and maps are available from Reception.

Heli-pad
The hotel has its own heli-pad. Arrangements to use this need
to be made with Air Traffic Control at RAF Cranwell and
with the Hotel Reception team.
Robes
2 complimentary robes are provided. Additional robes are
available for a small fee and can be requested from reception,
by dialling 4808.
Laundry
Please contact the Housekeeper on 4808 by 8.30am for
the collection of any items requiring laundering or dry
cleaning. Please complete the form provided in the drawer
of your dressing table and place in the bag with the
garments. This service is available Monday to Friday
excluding bank holidays.
Smoking Areas
Stanton’s patio and The Claret Jug patio are designated
smoking areas. No smoking is permitted in the lodges.
Lost Property
Please report any lost and found items to Reception as soon
as possible.
Television
Your television receives all the local channels, freeview and
radio stations. To operate your TV simply switch on the set
and use the remote control. If you experience difficulties
please dial 4808.
Luggage
If you would like to make use of our facilities before your
lodge is available, or once you have checked out of your
lodge, luggage can be stored for you by reception for your
convenience.
Mail and Postage
Stamps are available to purchase at Reception. Mail is
collected daily at 5pm. Please leave your letters with
Reception for posting.
Newspapers
You can order newspapers to be delivered to your lodge each
morning. Please dial 0 to request.
Taxis and Transport
Please contact Reception who will be able to arrange a taxi
for you. The nearest mainline station is Grantham.
Telephone services
There is a minimum call charge of 35p per call from your
hotel. All calls are charged to the nearest second thereafter.

Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions
The hotel has five beautiful rooms which are licensed for civil
ceremonies. Parties of between 20 and 200 can be catered for
at a reception. For further details or to arrange a tour of our
