This is one of the more popular patterns of
Tiger Stripes used by the US troops in
Vietnam. This would have been used by
units including the Special Forces.
The suit is cut in the Advisor pattern and is
made from 100% cotton.
The jacket has two chest pockets and one
small pocket on the upper left sleeve which
are closed by buttons.
The trousers has seven pockets: 2 front
slash, two rear, two cargo and one on the
lower leg.
All the buttons are exposed.

3rd PATTERN TROPICAL UNIFORM
This was the most common uniform worn in Vietnam. The
jacket has 4 pockets, the top two are slanted and like the
trousers, the buttons are covered. They differ from modern day
BDU green uniforms by having no reinforcement on the knees
and elbows. These even have the white labels inside and are
made of Ripstop poplin cotton, just like the originals. All sizes
are regular length and Medium, Large and X Large are also
available in a long length.
