The use of recycled polystyrene helps to address government, local authority and
business concerns of landfill and recycling requirements.

is a viable and realistic alternative for hardwood, and therefore
contributes to the reduction in deforestation of our hardwood forests.

is 100% recyclable both during the process of manufacture and
post consumer use.

AMERIKRAFT
is extruded to a finished shape and color to meet customer requirements, thereby reducing to a minimum, waste in application. Although it can be stained
with wood stains, this is not a necessity, as the color is produced during the process thus
avoiding the use of chemically based stains, paints and solvents.
Maintenance:
Little maintenance is required to keep AMERIKRAFTTM material looking good. The
product should be cleaned as needed to remove dirt and debris. No abrasive or harsh
chemicals should be used on the product. Aromatic solvents (e.g. toluene, xylene) or
cleaners containing aromatic solvents (e.g. Citri-Solv) should never be used on
AMERIKRAFTTM materials.
Cleaning:
Hot soapy water is the best choice for cleaning AMERIKRAFTTM material.
AMERIKRAFTTM is a hard material with a non porous surface, therefore it does not
readily stain and most spills do not stick. Any water-based household cleaner can be
used to clean the surface, including Windex, 409, Pledge, Murphy’s Oil Soap, Simple
Green and citrus cleaners. Avoid any cleaner that contains solvents or harsh chemicals.
If unsure of the cleaner, test on a small area before cleaning. Although not commonly
necessary, AMERIKRAFTTM materials can be pressure-washed.
