It allows rolls with a maximum diameter of 1,500 mm and a weight of 2,500 kg to be cut, when
their maximum width is 2,150 mm (for rolls with a width of up to 1,000 mm, the maximum bearable weight
is 2,000 kg, centred on an expandable axis).

The initial cutting speed varies between 0 and 8 m/min, slowly increasing in proportion to the diameter of the
roll. However the cutting speed may be adjusted as necessary, using the potentiometer to control the
frequency converter which, in turn, regulates the motor.

Automatic rolling system with speed converter.

Expandable pneumatic axle along its full length, thus guaranteeing that the roll is firmly gripped, both in the
winder and the unwinder-rewinder.

Optional: As an optional accessory, we offer a special
blade (LST 163) that not only separates the plies
but also cuts the separated cover, i.e. the blade
cuts lengthways and vertically. With this blade,
the separated strip of belt is automatically cut in
the same process. It is used for applications
which require the removal of one of the two
separated layers (cover or fabric), such as
longitudinal splices.

The finger cutting machine is supplied with 2 cutting bases. These
can be easily switched. Any type of cutting base may be optionally
supplied, as long as the length of the finger is not greater than the
swage block (Nylon pressure plate).
Wooden cutting base with isosceles triangle-shaped fingers: base 12 mm and length
90 mm (pointed -non round- tips), suitable for 1 simple cut splices. Nylon swage
block (pressure plate) included.

Special characteristics:
Machinery for the longitudinal welding of:
- Open or endless profiles
- Runer with base on open or endless belts,
by means of hot air welders and pneumatic controls . It is simple and easy to
handle, yet strong as well.
It enables longitudinal profiles as well as Esbelt’s PVC Runer sidewalls with
base to be welded to a variety of different conveyor belts. With endless belts,
the weld must be finished manually.
The minimum endless belt length is 1 m.
Precise positioning of the profile and Runer with base is guaranteed, as both
the belt and the profile or Runer with base are aligned by means of adjustable
guides during the welding process.
The welder enables two profiles to be welded simultaneously, either to the
same belt or two parallel belts of the same thickness.
The machine’s forward speed is controlled by a potentiometer, with a range
of speeds from 0 to 2.7 m/min. The speeds vary according to the profile, Runer
with base, or belt type. A parameter chart is provided with the instruction
manual.

The hot air welders are easily regulated, as the profile can
be attached using cold vulcanisation, thanks to the two
positions for these welders.
The belt centring guides enables the belt to be accurately
centred.
The pulley pressure may also be regulated, thus limiting
the slippage of the pneumatic cylinders.
The belt advance speed is easily controlled using the
potentiometer. This controls a 220V frequency converter
with in turn controls the motor speed.

To splice an embossed belt, the belt should be placed in the
press together with stratified fibreglass sheets and the
embossed silicone mould. This means greater separation of
the press plates is required.
The nominal separation between the LPBE-600AC press
plates is 20 mm.
To increase the separation when embossed belts are being
spliced that require silicone moulds, the fixed locks have been
change to locks that enable the opening length to be set so
that the silicone moulds will fit.

Kit characteristics:
The LP-9004 welding clamp has been specially designed for the quick, secure
welding of esbelt extruded belts. The trapezoidal vee-belts, round belts and ridge
top belts can be welded, in any of their forms, with the LP-9004 welding clamp.
The heat control and adjustment of the welder LP-9003 in relation to the 30-mm
flat tip LP-9013, or the 40-mm LP-9014, can be easily adapted to the specific
energy requirements for welding esbelt’s range of extruded belts.
The welding clamp LP-9004, aluminium made, gives a strong, reliable joint,
ensures that the ends of the belt to weld are correctly aligned. It also enables the
holding pressure to be adjusted, according to the dimensions of the belt being
welded.
The supporting mechanism LP-9005 for the welding clamp thereby permitting
production line welding.
