wet grinding function of Zenotec select
hybrid meets the milling requirements
of the lithium disilicate glass-ceramic
IPS e.max CAD and the leucite glassceramic IPS Empress CAD. Automatic
identification technology enables the
IPS e.max blanks to be allocated according to their size and shade in the
predefined IPS e.matrix.
The Zenotec hydro cooling and
filtration system ensures optimum
milling results. A high pump pressure
reduces tool wear and brushless
pump technology lowers the maintenance frequency of the unit.
The dry milling process is now optimally matched to the zirconium oxide discs of the Zenostar system and
therefore produces high-precision results. The machine is fully automatic
and allows a number of discs to be
milled without any manual intervention. Different materials, for example,
zirconium oxide, wax and composite
resin, can be automatically milled in
succession with the 8-disc material
changer.

Available for a wide range of conventional implant systems, they obtain

In contrast to conventional milling
during which the blank remains in
a static position, the blank rotates
around its own axis with so-called
“multipass milling”. This not only reduces the travel paths of the cutter but
also provides for uniformly homogeneous material removal as well as precise and smooth surfaces. According to

and will benefit from higher precision
while keeping full value added. Only a

können. Bereiche mit zu geringen
Temperaturen, wie sie häufig bei
Edelstahlkammern auftreten können, werden effektiv vermieden. So
können in einem Sterilisationszyklus bis zu 50 % mehr Instrumente
etc. sterilisiert werden als mit einem
schnelle Wiederverfügbarkeit im
Praxisbetrieb. Dabei wird auch an
eine effiziente Trocknung des wertvollen Instrumentariums gedacht:
aufgrund der viel geringeren Temperaturschwankungen innerhalb der
Kammer im Vergleich zu
vielen Sterilisatoren mit
Edelstahlkammer, entsteht kaum Kondensat.
So kann eine zuverlässige
Trocknung speziell von
Übertagungsinstrumenten durchgeführt werden, die mitentscheidend für deren Lebensdauer ist.

Several exciting new developments
will be unveiled at the IDS. For example, new software for occlusal surface
design will be supplemented with the
Biojaw application. This uses the intact remaining tooth material in the entire scanned area as a reference for reconstruction of the original tooth. Its
alignment in the jaw as a whole is also
created so as to be anatomically correct. In this way, a high quality and customised treatment proposal requiring
very little subsequent processing can
be made for each patient.
Ultrafine grinding can be performed using new grinding algorithms and with the aid of new tools for
the CEREC MC XL grinder. In this way,
even the smallest cracks, a smoother
surface structure and sharp preparation margins can be processed. In the
case of bridges, the interdental areas
can be represented with even greater
detail and precision.
With CEREC Guide 2, CEREC can
be used to support the planning and
insertion of an implant. It is based on
a procedure for designing a drilling
template, which is created inexpensively in the practice, and put into use.
This enables the user to insert implants more confidently. Even individual abutments or directly screwed
crowns can be designed and ground
for temporary and final fitting.
In the future, it will also be possible to use CEREC to make impressions for orthodontic indications.
The new CEREC Ortho software enables orthodontists and dentists
who practice orthodontics to create
a digital model of the entire arch. The
data can be exported for use in planning orthodontic treatments and
producing the equipment required
for this purpose.

Mit seiner Indikationsvielfalt von
Einzelzahnrestaurationen bis hin zu
mehrgliedrigen Brücken bietet Zenostar von Wieland Dental eine
große Bandbreite an Verarbeitungsmöglichkeiten – und dadurch noch
mehr Flexibilität, Effizienz und Sicherheit. Das Zirkoniumoxid-System
ist jetzt mit den e.max-Verblendsystemen von Ivoclar Vivadent kompatibel.
Damit bieten sich bei der Ver wendung von Zenostar vielfältige Verarbeitungsoptionen und eine hohe
Effizienz bei der Herstellung von vollanatomischen Restaurationen und
Gerüsten. Konkret wird dies durch zwei Neuerungen ermöglicht. Durch die Umbenennung der transluzenten Zenostar

the IPS e.max veneering system from
Ivoclar Vivadent.
As of now, Zenostar offers manifold
processing options and high efficiency for the fabrication of full-contour restorations and frameworks. By
renaming the translucent Zenostar Zr
disc into Zenostar T, the colour codes
now match the ones of IPS e.max from
Ivoclar Vivadent. Given the addition of
the new T3 shade, all 16 A–D tooth
shades are even easier to reproduce,
according to the company. Moreover,
the reduced disc hardness leads to enhanced milling properties and longer
milling tool service lives. The adjusted
and optimised scaling factor provides
for an even higher accuracy of fit of the
restorations.
The second innovation is the introduction of Zenostar MO (Medium
Opacity), which replaces Zenostar Zr
Bridge. Owing to the slightly higher
opacity, the Zenostar MO discs are the
ideal material for veneering framework structures.
The discs are available in four different shades (MO1 to MO4) as well as
without shading (MO0). A preshaded
material has thus become part of the
product offering. Furthermore, the
designation MO blends in with the
shade philosophy of IPS e.max.

Polymerblock Telio CAD A16 komplettiert den digitalen Behandlungsfluss zu einem durchgehenden Arbeitsprozess. Erstmals ist damit
ein Block mit einer vorgefertigten
Schnittstelle verfügbar, der die direkte Herstellung von Implantat-Hybridversorgungen für provisorische
Einzelzahnrestaurationen erlaubt.
Anwendern von CEREC und inLab
ermöglicht er die Erstellung individueller monolithischer Hybrid-Abutmentkronen. Seine vorgefertigten
Schnittstellen in der Größe S oder L

workflow has become ubiquitous. The
last gap in the treatment of teeth with
implant restorations is now closed.
The new, highly cross-linked polymer
block Telio CAD A16 completes the digital workflow to include temporary
restorations in implant dentistry. For
the first time, a block with a pre-fabricated interface is available, which allows the direct fabrication of hybrid
implant restorations for single-tooth
temporization. Moreover, the block
enables CEREC and inLab users to
create customized monolithic hybrid
abutment crowns. The pre-fabricated
interfaces in sizes S and L are tailored
to the requirements of titanium bases
from Sirona. The completed restorations can be directly cemented on the
Ti base.
As a result of the industrial production process, temporary hybrid
abutment crowns made of Telio CAD
A16 fit extremely accurately. Therefore, the treatment time for both
users and patients is reduced. The
hybrid abutment crown is easy to adjust and provides a clear idea of what
the permanent restoration will look
like. In addition, a proper emergence
profile can be ideally developed and
shaped. The restoration can be incorporated immediately after the implantation procedure or after the
healing phase.
Telio CAD A16 forms an ideal
basis for long-term, implant-supported
restorations fabricated with IPS e.max
CAD Abutment Solutions. The self-curing luting composite Multilink Hybrid
Abutment ensures an excellent bond
of the restoration to the titanium base.
The PMMA block is offered in size A16
and in 6 shades. Restorations made
of this block are indicated for a wear
period of up to 12 month.

new features such as the Replace
