Summer Camp with Sister Alice:
We will again offer two weeks of a spirit
-filled and religious summer camp.
Beginning Monday July 11th and ending
July 22. Camp is open to any child from
Catholic School, CCD, and Sunday
liturgy of the Word group who leave
mass and go to the school to study the
gospel. The cost will be only $25 for each child each
week. We will walk up to PS 7 each day for lunch.
Camp will go from 8:30am mass until 4pm. Please call
the rectory office to register.

Campamento de verano con la Hermana
Alicia: del 11 de julio hasta el 22, lunes a viernes,
empezamos con la misa 8:30am y terminamos a las
4pm. Este es un ‘camp’ espiritual. Abrimos
registración a los estudiantes de la escuela católica,
catecismo, y también del grupo de niños quienes
estudian la palabra de la misa los domingos con la
hermana Alicia. Por favor llame a la oficina de

2016-2017 Calendario: Todos los lideres de los
grupos de la parroquia deben de hacer una lista de las
fechas y el lugar donde su actividad se llevara acabo
para el año - Julio 2016 - Junio 2017. Las fechas
seran reservada sigun la orden que se reciban, en
otras palabras, el primer que pida una fecha sera el
quien la obtendra. Si hay un conflicto con las fechas,
la persona que sea de contacto sera notificada
imediatemente.
La lista debe incluir nombre,
dirección y telefono de la persona para contactar, el
nombre del grupo, la fecha y hora de la actividad,
hora que empieza y termina y el proposito de la
actividad.

Del escritorio del pastor
My good friends,
I have always believed in the old saying that ‘charity
begins at home’. I think Jesus alluded to that when he
said that he had been sent first to the lost children of
Israel. With that in mind, let me tell you again how
grateful I am that YOU, Blessed Sacrament, are my
family.
Generations of Faith was some success.
And that’s totally thanks to you and your
faith. We will be speaking at length in the
future about how to pay. However, thank
you to so many who are even making
payments without having received the
envelopes in the mail yet! Again, it is better
to please wait until the company catches up
to the incredible number of faithful who have
pledged. They are a bit behind. If you have
not found anything from them in your mail,
then please wait a while.
Do you see that huge fish tank? It is a 55
gallon fish tank. My Chinese Water Dragon
(a lizard/reptile) just died. Sister Mary
Wilma was so beautiful. However, I don’t
plan on replacing her. I have much too much work to
do, and I have enough dogs and cats to keep me busy.
Therefore, if you would like this tank and the stand, all
I ask is that we keep it in the family. If you (or your
family…especially if you’re only a kid) use envelopes
regularly, and also were kind enough to take a pledge
in the Generations of Faith, then call me. It’s an
excellent tank, no leaks. The tank and stand are worth
about $140. Please, family only.

esa filosofía cuando dijo que su misión era para las
ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel. Otra vez, doy
gracias a Dios que tu, Blessed Sacrament, eres mi
familia.
‘Generaciones de Fe’ ha
sido un éxito inesperado. Y
esa cantidad, $1.7 millón,
habla de tu fidelidad.

llámame. Si tú eres un joven, entonces esperamos
que tu familia sea parte verdaderamente de la familia.

Teen volunteer receptionist wanted for our
office:
we are looking for one of our youth,
preferably from Teen Genesis or Jornada. Now that the
summer is here, we have various evenings and even
some days when the phone and door need a
receptionist. It would help very much if you were
somewhat bi-lingual. But it is not absolutely necessary.
If you are not one of the kids from the two youth
groups, then you must have already received your
confirmation, and you must be a faithful Catholic. If
you do not go to mass every single Sunday, please do
NOT call me.
This looks excellent on your resumé in the future.
It’s also a nice chance to begin truly putting your faith
into action for your parish. God will bless you, and
that’s not just a nice saying.
