General Information
PRICES AND TERMS
All prices are FOB San Leandro, CA and subject to charge without notice. Receipt
of our acknowledgement indicates acceptance of your order subject to the terms
set forth on the acknowledgement. All special items must be accompanied by a
special quote available from your factory representative. Please notify the factory
immediately if there is any discrepancy in the acknowledgement. Dfm reserves
the right to charge for labor, materials and administrative costs for all changes.
FINISHES
Special finishes to match are availabe, subject to wood species and color to match, at an additional charge.
SHIPPING
Dfm will exercise its best judgment when choosing the appropriate carrier and
routing. All shippments are sent FOB San Leandro, California. Freight rates will
vary depending on destination and volume and will be added to the invoice.
When a specific carrier is requested, freight will be collect.

CLAIMS
If sent by common carrier, Dfm’s liability ends when the transportation company
acknowledges the shipment has been received in good condition. Title to
merchandise transfers to the buyer at that time. All merchandise, whether
cartoned or blanket wrapped, should be inspected immediately upon receipt.
Damaged merchandise should not necessarily be refused but a written exception
must be noted on the bill of landing. Request an inspection by the carrier.
STORAGE CHARGES
Merchandise unable to be accepted at the scheduled completion date will be
invoiced for in total and held in storage for up to 30 days at no charge. After 30
days storage charges will be invoiced to the customer on a monthly basis.
WARRANTY
Dfm warrants its furniture to be free of defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and service for a period of five years. Our obligation during this
warranty period is limited to repair or replacement at our option. This warranty
becomes null and void on any goods repaired or altered by any person not so
authorized by Dfm. All returns must be approved by Dfm’s customer service
department and issued a return authoriztion number prior to shipment. Goods
are to be shipped to Dfm’s factory on an approved freight carrier at our expense.
Return shipment of repaired or replaced furniture will be shipped freight collect.

MODEL NUMBERS
Please specify all products by model number, name and description.
Include all appropriate options. The model number will prevail in the event the
description differs.
LEATHER AND FABRIC
Dfm’s standard leather is top grain, aniline dyed and lightly polished.
Dfm will grade in any appropriate fabric or leather based on our cost per yard.
Please consult with your Dfm representative when pricing seating with graded in
fabric or leather.

Dfm has tested our standard pieces in a variety of fabrics. Actual burn tests are
available but not always necessary. We will work closely with you to assure your
selected fabrics will pass all necessary codes.

MATERIALS
Dfm uses solid wood materials that come from well managed forests.
FRAME & FINISH:
Solid hardwood frames available in Cherry, Oak, Maple, Walnut, Ash and Mahoganyhand finished tomatch and standard Dfm finish.Custom finishes and alternate solid
hardwood frames are also available.
