THE CHALLENGE
• After the success of 2014 – 2015 will be BIGGER AND
BETTER!
• New route is from Villiers to PMB
• Runners vs Cyclists
• 2014 time approx 42hrs
• Approx. 50 Cyclists (First team of 5 Cyclists to count)
• Approx. 50 Runners (First relay team to count)
• Whilst the runners run the cyclists party and sleep
• Get there safely
• Logistics & Support
Raise much needed funds for St Vincent School for the Deaf

VEHICLES
Runners:
• Each running team will be supplied with a Quantum or equivalent
• Teams are required to provide their own second vehicle
Cyclists:
• Each cycling team to provide their
own support vehicles and drivers
All vehicles to be fitted with adequate safety lights and warning
signs to ensure maximum safety at all times!

ACCOMMODATION
Cyclist Accommodation
• All cyclists and support will be provided with
accommodation for the duration of the challenge
Runner Accommodation
• WHAT ACCOMMODATION ???
• Runners will be provided accommodation on the
night of the awards ceremony in Pietermaritzburg
• Shower hour at Little Switzerland
Saturday 17th October
• All participants and support will be provided with
accommodation on the final night of the challenge

Cyclists
• Cyclists and supports will be provided with Bed & Breakfast
Runners

responsible for providing all their
own food and refreshments en-route
to PMB
• ELB to provide coffee & rusk stations
• Runners and support will be
provided lunch on arrival to PMB and
an Awards Dinner
