In addition to bringing you independent radio programming 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year, KDHX was out in the community bringing you the
best in live music and supporting our fellow arts organizations throughout
the year. Over 2,600 fans came to the City Museum for Midwest

Foundation, photo: Michael Landeck
Mayhem in May, Twangfest 15 presented the best in Americana to over
1,000 concert goers, and Sheldon Sessions returned with a rare
performance from hometown favorite Jay Farrar.
KDHX presented dozens of local musicians in Tower Grove Park for
Harvest Sessions and in Grand Center for Thursdays at the
Intersection. Our DJs could also be found emceeing the Whitaker Music
Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden, welcoming Keb’ Mo’ to
Celebrate St. Louis, playing after-parties at The Shakespeare Festival,
and creating deconstructed sounds at the Pulitzer Foundation.

KDHX Media Arts held filmmaker workshops with the Webster Film
Series and Cinema St. Louis, hosted filmmaking competitions (48 Hour
Film Project, National Film Challenge, and International Documentary
Challenge) and soldout film screenings at The Tivoli. Art Attack returned
to unite art enthusiasts for a raucous destructo-auction; dozens of artists
and hundreds of spectators joined in for this celebration of creativity with
a sense of humor.
We hope you enjoyed our programming and events and look forward to
bringing another great year of independent music to Saint Louis in 2012.
