quartet is the most comprehensible genre of
instrumental music... one may learn something from
their discourse and recognize the special characteristics
of their instruments.’
The Kruger Quartet came together in 2014, for
their love of Classical Quartet repertoire and to
be honest, also their shared love of cake! Their

The CONCERTS IN THE WEST series of
MINI-TOURS started in 2006 offering a broad
spectrum of Classical and Baroque music.
This gives young professional performers a
platform to explore repertoire, and their
listeners an opportunity to hear some rarely
performed and unusual works that their
audience might not be familiar with, as well
as some firm favourites.
Our MUSICIANS have studied to post-graduate
level or higher at music colleges in the UK and
abroad and are destined to be heard all over
the world.
This season we have a familiar venue in Devon
at LOWER PULWORTHY, We return to the
BRIDPORT ARTS CENTRE, and the ILMINSTER
ARTS CENTRE. We return to THE HUB (next to
St Michael’s Church) in Lyme Regis and the
MARINE THEATRE. We will also have one
concert at ST MICHAEL’S, SHUTE and two at the
new venue, THE DANCE HOUSE, in Crewkerne.
We hope that this will give more people the
opportunity to hear such fine musicians. We
