Denny Duron, a native
Edgar Montano, as
a child from a poor family,
was one of the first children
sponsored under what
became Latin America Child
Care. He began his pastoral ministry in
1978, later serving as a missionary to
Panama (1980-82). In addition to his
church leadership work, Pastor Edgardo
is an author, teacher and conference
speaker who has ministered in the USA
in 16 states and in 16 countries around
the world. He is married and has two
adult children.
Andrew Hansen grew
up in Calgary and graduated
from Briercrest College and
Seminary. He then spent
six years at Mill Woods
Assembly in Edmonton as a youth pastor
and recently he has moved into a role
with Youth Unlimited where he will be
spearheading a youth drop-in centre and
outreach initiatives in the community of
Mill Woods. He and Jessica have two
boys (Kyler and Declan) and by the time
camp rolls around will have a third boy.
of Shreveport, Louisiana,
was an outstanding college
football player and uses his
experiences in football as a
vehicle to present the message of Jesus.
Denny now serves as Chancellor of
Evangel Christian Academy, and Pastor
of Shreveport Community Church in
Shreveport, LA. With a congregation of
over 3000, Denny has placed his focus
on challenging men and women globally
to achieve true success on the road to
their God-given destiny.
Cory Alstad has been
leading worship for over 13
years and is the Worship
Pastor at North Langley
Community Church in
Langley, BC, where he has served for
over eight years. Cory has been involved
in the music world professionally
in many different contexts as well.
He plays regularly in the Vancouver
area with a variety of artists and has
led worship in numerous Canadian
locations. Cory is married to Sheri and
together they have three kids.
Joseph L. Castleberry
is president of Northwest
University in Kirkland,
Washington. He is a popular
guest speaker and enjoys
writing for general audiences. He has
published books and articles on a
variety of topics including The Kingdom
Net: Learning to Network Like Jesus
(Influence, August 2013). He blogs
regularly in English and Spanish at
www.josephcastleberry.com and www.
immigrantesdedios.org. Dr. Castleberry
and his wife, Kathleen, have three
daughters; Jessica, Jodie and Sophie.
The Ben Johnson
family brings a unique
style of fast paced
children’s ministry
to the platform with
an impressive set up; using puppets,
characters, gospel illusions, intense
story telling, music, skits along with
many other props and tricks all to tell the
uncompromised message of the Bible.​
IMPORTANT INFORMATION Check-in is 3:00 PM on Monday and check-out is 10:00 AM on Saturday.
A Welcome BBQ is complimentary for all registered guests and will be served from 6 - 7 PM on Monday.
Meals commence on Tuesday at breakfast and end Saturday with a continental breakfast.
Camp services begin at 7:30 PM on Monday and conclude Friday evening.
Bring your own towels, pillows and bedding (excluding guests of the Sunnyside Lodge rooms) as well as toiletry items.
Pets are not permitted inside any buildings and must be on a leash at all times when on camp property.
Child Care will be provided during camp sessions.
