Property of the Month
Bright Realty Brokers 1.15 Acre Sale Next to Nebraska Furniture Mart
Bright Realty reps Tim McNutt and Britton Lankford brokered the sale of 1.15 acres
of the company’s land in the master-planned Castle Hills community, just west of
the future Nebraska Furniture Mart, to NorthPoint Development. This busy State
Highway 121 area will now have a two-tenant retail center for a new Potbelly
Sandwich Shop and Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina Mexican restaurant. Bryan Cornelius
with Venture Commercial represented the buyer, NorthPoint Development.
“Bright Realty has seven of its nine available commercial pad sites between
SuperTarget and Nebraska Furniture Mart under contract,” said Senior Vice
President Britton Lankford. “This area is rapidly developing from both a
commercial and residential standpoint. It’s just north of Bright Realty’s 379 single
family home sites in Castle Hills that will be delivered to homebuilders September
2014, so we anticipate continued interest from potential investors.”

Fireworks Display Brings
Thousands to Castle Hills
The Bright Realty-sponsored
fireworks display was a showstopper
at the annual Castle Hills Freedom
Festival. The July 4th event drew
thousands to the Castle Hills Village
Shops for free family activities, live
music, great food and the great
fireworks show.

“Bright Realty sponsors free community events at the Village Shops several times
a month, all year around. The July 4th event was another great opportunity to
expose community residents and those from surrounding neighborhoods to the
shops and its tenants. PI.E 3.14, our newest restaurant, served its popular pizza
pies, cocktails and craft beer from a tent by Lake Avalon; Lunada Tex-Mex Grill , a
long time eatery, served its most popular specialty menu items at the event,” said
Lucas Patterson, executive vice president. “Several other Village Shops retailers
also had booths set up offering activities for kids like arts and crafts.
“The Castle Hills Village Shops is
the center of the community, and a
gathering place for residents to meet
each other and have fun. It is also a great
convenience for the community because
of the variety of stores, restaurants and
services it offers, from dog grooming to
hair salon,” added Patterson. There are
leasing opportunities available in the
expanding Village Shops.
