TECO’s first turnkey
The following article has been taken from a copy of a Toledo
Engineering Co Inc brochure issued in 1947. It describes
TECO’s first turnkey glass plant installation, which
involved the building, the provision of utilities, and of
equipment for the entire glassmaking process including
batch plant, furnace, forehearths, lehrs and cold end equipment.
The installation was at Cervecaria Moctezuma in
Orizaba, Mexico. Since this installation, TECO has
supplied 15 turnkey manufacturing plants.
