“I SHOT ELVIS” PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT
Coming in 2015 to Sincerely Elvis
Elvis was one of the most photographed celebrities in history and Graceland’s
archives houses over 50,000 images. This special exhibit will explore the
photographers that captured shots of Elvis from the time he was an unknown kid
trying to make it big, to some of his biggest concerts in the 1970’s. See Elvis through
the eyes of the photographers as they chronicled the personal life and career of one
of the biggest entertainers of all time.

ELVIS: THAT’S THE WAY IT IS VIP EXHIBIT
Coming in 2015 as part of the VIP Tour
In summer 1970, Elvis was the hottest show in
Vegas, and MGM cameras followed him during a
four-week engagement at the International Hotel
to capture footage for an upcoming concert film. The
crew shot not only Elvis performing on stage, but
footage of Elvis in the studio, in rehearsals and having
fun backstage with friends. “Elvis: That’s The Way It
Is” was released in theatres nationwide in November
1970 and has since become a favorite among fans.
