BARNABAS PROJECT 2016
It is time for Barnabas Project 2016! Saturday, March 12 our entire church family
will go out into our community simply to bless others through our service to
them. Some projects will include working at local schools, serving meals, yard
work, and construction. There will be many other opportunities as well that
you can find out about at our “Pick Your Project” meeting March 6. Before that
meeting, we need you to save the date! Click HERE to sign up to serve on March
12. If you sign up by February 29, you will be guaranteed the correct shirt size!
2016 UPWARD SOCCER
It is time to register your child for Upward soccer! Children K4-6th
grade are invited to join us this spring for a fun environment where
they will learn competitive athletic skills, character, confidence,

The Watoto Children’s Choir traveling from Africa is thrilled to present a brand new choir
production entitled “Oh What Love.” Through this dynamic worship experience, the
members of the Watoto Children’s Choir, who were once orphans, share their journeys to
redemption and demonstrate that God desires to be a loving father to all mankind. We
are excited to host the Watoto Children's Choir Sunday, February 21 at 6:00 p.m. The
event is free and is open to the public, so invite your friends and family to an experience
they do not want to miss!

BREAKAWAY WEEKEND
Breakaway Weekend is an event for middle school students (6th - 8th grades)
February 19-21. Students will stay in host homes and gather together at Geyer
Springs for worship, teaching from God's Word, and times of intentional relationship

SINGLE MOMS CONFERENCE
Saturday, March 5 we will host a conference for single mothers led by Lori Little, author of the Bible study Hope and Help for the
Single Mom, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Registration is $10, and childcare as well as lunch will be provided that day. Register

CENTRIKID
It is time to register for CentriKid! We will take current 3rd-6th graders to
CentriKid on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University again this year. The dates
for camp are July 25 - 29. The total cost for camp is $310, and a $50 deposit is
due by February 14 to reserve your spot. Cost includes 4 daily t-shirts for kids to
wear at camp. Registration forms are available at the Children's Welcome Desk.

is limited, so sign up soon!
BELIZE MISSION TRIP
Are you interested in learning a little more about a mission trip to Belize? A trip is planned August 20 - 27 to do evangelism
through medical, dental, and optical work. Construction and Vacation Bible School will be done as well. Only a limited number
of people will be able to go. If you think you might want to be one of them, there will be an interest meeting February 24 at 6:15

GRIEF SHARE
Grief Share is a Biblically based study that aids in the recovery of the loss of loved ones through death. Grief Share is a small
group of people who study and share together as they journey through a difficult time of loss. The next session begins
Wednesday, March 2 in Room 204 at 5:30 p.m. and will be led by Dorothea Wright. Please pre-register by calling Lisa Malone
at 455.3474. The cost of the course is $10 to help cover the cost of materials.
FORGIVEN AND SET FREE: A POST-ABORTION BIBLE STUDY FOR WOMEN
If you or someone you know has experienced the devastation that follows an abortion, there is hope and healing. Join other
women who have walked down this same path and delve into what Scripture says about relief, denial, anger, forgiveness,
depression, letting go, and acceptance.
This support group will meet on Thursdays beginning March 3 at 6:00 p.m. and will be very confidential – not led by a
